SUPERCUTS — Local services in Vancouver

I have been getting my haircut at this place for around 10 years until today. I called in and asked for an appointment was told anything after 2 for the stylist I have cut my hair so I asked for 2:30 pm Miranda said ok no problem then hung up. I show up at 2:15 after leaving my extended families home early so I can make the appointment. I check in and then am told by Miranda that she had put me down for 2 and that I would get fit in and as she saw I was a little upset about this made it seem like I had made the mistake not her no apology no nothing so I left and will not be coming back to this place all because of Miranda poor costumer service she could careless about the people who come in this place as I listened to the way she spoke to others on the phone and then would turn and mock the person with her co-workers because they are overbooked. My advise have Miranda stick to cutting hair not customer service I guess my ten years of coming doesn’t matter at least according to Miranda sucks cause I like my hairstylist Megan she does a great job Update: Megan reached out to me and saved the day I will keep going here because of Megan’s customer service and...

Absolutely appalling customer service.

My wife went up there with our eight-year-old to go get a haircut for my daughter; today 3/6/2022 at 3:00.

Upon arrival; she was told it would’ve been an hour wait because there was a client ahead of her with a child; my wife and daughter waited for that hour - when the original client said “oh I actually have two kids who needs a haircut and the staff took the other persons kid and said my wife that she was going to have to wait even longer. AFTER they had already told my wife that our daughter was next since they had already been waiting for an hour.

My wife and daughter left enraged and disappointed and I am furious hearing about this as well. It’s terrible customer service like this which prompts bad reviews and reasons why people will never go back to a place again. I understand short staffing issues and all that but this was absolutely uncalled for; like our business isn’t good enough - especially after telling us we were going to be next. This place apparently caters to people who can’t get their own affairs straight when they walk in and punishes those that are...

Update: I emailed the owner 2 separate times to the email she stated below with no response.

Terrible. I made an appointment for a wash and style (asked for curls). My stylist states she gave me "beachy waves" and by the time I got home, my hair was completely flat and tangled. The wash was fairly quick but the hairdrying was rough, as my stylist states she's never worked with my type of hair before (mid length, fine hair). She said she only had one type of barrel/bristle brush in the entire salon & seemed to struggle with the brush as she dried my hair and every time it ended up getting tangled and pulling at my scalp as she wrapped my hair around it. By the time I got home, my hair was flat and my scalp sore. I tried rebrushing my hair and it was extremely tangled from the work she was attempting to do. This wash/dry appointment took over an HOUR and it was definitely not worth my time or money. $40+ is ridiculous. I had an event to go to that night so it was extremely disappointing to have to rush home to do my own hair when I specifically paid to have someone else do it. Will not...
