Mr. Maple Donuts — Restaurant in Washington

My wife have been excited to try this place since she noticed on their website that they were opening one near us. Today, we decided to walk our dog and grab some donuts for breakfast. When my wife went in, she ordered, confirmed with the staff member that she had ordered six, and came out excitedly to dig in.

When we opened the box, we found that we didn't get the Buttermilk Bar we ordered - we got an extra maple bar. We also only had five donuts in the box; they hadn't counted right, told her she had six, and charged us for six. No big deal; she just went in to fix the mistake.

She was told that because we had already paid, the store couldn't do anything about it. The worker told her that she couldn't get the correct donut that we paid for nor the number that we paid for.

I'm usually not one to complain about service, but this was 1) a simple problem that 2) could have been solved simply. The profit margin on a single donut is minuscule, and we certainly weren't even trying to profit from correcting this mistake--we had already paid for our donuts! This was, suffice to say, a very disappointing result for a breakfast trip that we were...

I placed an online order and what I received is not what I ordered. I called the store and asked "Why did we received sprinkle, fruit filled, and cake donuts? When we ordered maple bars(the name of the store. Mr Maple. You're telling me you had nothing maple to send?) Bavarian cream filled, regular cream filled, and chocolate glazed." The guy said, "We're out of all of that." I said, "You're telling me that you don't have any of those items." He replied, "Well, we have the Bavarian cream and the regular cream, so we messed up on that one, but we're out of the other 2." I replied, "Is there anything you can do to fix this." He says, "Nope, you're not guaranteed the exact donuts you ordered."

What?!?!?!?? We spent $28.00 on a dozen donuts, and didn't receive a single donut we requested. Not one. This isn't right. Mr Maple should have at least attempted to make it right with the cream donuts. Now my morning is ruined and I didn't get my maple bar I've been...

I was at a business establishment nearby when I spotted this place. Anyone that knows me knows I have a sweet tooth, especially when its somewhere I have yet to try.

It was already the late afternoon so I assumed a lot of them would be sold out. Nope, they still had almost everything. So many options to choose from, however I did spot 2 that were sold out that I would've wanted to try. I went with 6 classic since it was my first time. Went with the powdered sugar cake donut, cinnamon cake donut, coconut cake donut, maple donut, Crueller, & chocolate m&m. All were very good, even the next day. Cake donuts were just firm enough, maple donut which was my favorite was nice & soft.

I really liked all of them. Skmetimes you just cant beat simple donuts. They were out of blueberry cake donut & the toasted coconut cake donut, so I want to go back...
