To be honest Im a little disappointed- I have been a customer of these stores for over twenty years. Any of these locations generally have what you need, which is a tremendous blessing if you are broken down with a bad hose. They also generally can get you together if you are dealing with uncommon fittings. Thats the good- and Triad gets 5 starts up to this point. However, it is disappointing to have to be so careful to shop there, as their prices are nowhere near competitive, and since nothing is marked you dont find this out until you are literally sticking your credit card into the machine. Then you look like a jerk if you would prefer to go elsewhere, plus you need the items, you didnt go there for no reason. But it's like every time I go there expect to pay hundreds extra, even for a single hose. I understand that it is a niche market to sell hydraulics, and we all need them, but generally expect to pay 2-5x versus what you would pay Summit Hydraulics or someplace similar ordered to your house. I acknowledge, and am super willing to pay extra for being able to get decent customer service and in-stock today, and lets face it, inflation is rampant, but I still dont see paying 5x what you can order it for elsewhere, or potentially hundreds of dollars more for a very similar item. I need this store, but not all expenses can be passed on, generally all maintenance I have to pay out of my own profit, and to be honest I just can't afford this store. I did call and try to get an account or something to get better prices, but it did no good. Where will I shop now? I dont know- but I simply can't afford to pay hundreds...
