Starbucks — Restaurant in Vandalia

Welp to say disappointing is an understatement. Went to order 2 drinks. 3 ladies in front of me had ordered there drinks and received them. I walk up and John (I believe) and a blonde hair girl are behind the counter. John proceeds to tell me he can’t take my order because he is going on break. So I stand there thinking the girl will. The girl then proceeds to tell me she can’t help me because she is leaving. Standing there confused as to what happened. I went to customer service and explained to them that yes the 2 workers apologized but felt that it wasn’t right that they would leave the Starbucks un-staffed. The customer service lady and manager were both extremely apologetic about the actions the 2 employees took and acknowledged that they did not handle this correctly. They did issue a gift card to the store but still hard to not feel disappointed with the actions those 2 employees took...

This has nothing to do with the person working there but rather the lack of workers that place needs . We never received service because she was so backed up with orders . We stood there for 10 minutes. there was one other person behind us but with all the online orders she had to complete We ran out of time I tried to get my daughter something before her school day began I guess in the future we should show up 20 minutes early . Starbucks you can do better. you need more than 1 person working your store that's just pure greed on your part that girl needs help . You are making money hand over fist . This is the worst starbucks ever. It’s 5 minutes away from me but I go out of my way to drive to the Englewood or Huber one now instead because it’s not worth the hassle here. Their mobile ordering consistently says every food item is out of stock. I’ve never seen food available to order on the app but they will have it in the store if you go in. They say a lot of drinks are out of stock on the app but if you go in, they’re not. On top of that they do not have employees who know how to make drinks like other Starbucks places.
