Drove ~1 hour to the pre-release event with two young kids (7 and 4.5). I am confident that we were amongst the first 20 people there, but were told we couldn't play because they have a league of 18 people, so only two spots were theoretically available. We couldn't even get one slot as we saw people arriving after us getting to play. Having to walk out of a store with a 7 year old crying and having to explain how things in life aren't always fair over another 1 hour drive with him hurts. Of the 20 players, maybe only 6 or so were kids. The management could see how devastated we were and gave us a battle deck which was a nice gesture but I'm still pretty disappointed. We were told next time to call ahead but that with their league attendance they would have told us not to come. I have been to other events at other locations and was always first come first serve. I do not believe it was truly first come first serve as I only saw one kid seemingly get lucky and called up to play. The fact that that kid has to wait to see if he would get to play further indicates that there was no actual sign up list and that spots were held for people in advance. This conflicts the statement that things were first come first serve. Anyway, the store seems nice but if you are from far away I'd recommend...

DO NOT BRING YOUR COMIC BOOKS HERE!!! TIM IS NOT FRIENDLY AND IS A LIER! FIRST I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING IN MY COLLECTION of OVER 3,000 comic books. he literally looks at what i had on the table and starts saying “ YEA BY WHAT IM SEEING HERE SO FAR THESE ARE ALL 1$ DOLLAR BOOKS.” then i show him some from the inside he puts it wet starbucks ice drink on one of my comic book boxes. the starts man handling my comic books literally damaging them! looks at a few boxes then says he hates to be the bare of bad news but he doesn’t want to even make me an offer.! mind you that i had to load up about 10 boxes over 50-100 lbs each! the tried to tell me someone in the valley will pay 20$ a box ! the audio of that man! NOT Welcoming at all. As a collector and a person with good communication skills they definitely made me not want to come...
