We used to love Red Robin. Recently the service, cleanliness and quality of food has become so poor. Tonight a friend and I decided to try. To begin there was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant during dinner hour. This is really unfair to her and customers as one person shouldn’t have the responsibility of serving that many people at once. So my review is not a reflection on her performance.
My friend and I ordered completely different burgers. She had the Mad Love and I had California Chicken. We both added ranch to ours and after a bite said our burgers tasted like blue cheese. We thought maybe the dressing was wrong, but trying it separately confirmed that was ranch. Then we thought maybe they accidentally used blue cheese instead of mayonnaise. Neither of us like blue cheese but didn’t think it would be harmful. We ate as much as we could but couldn’t stomach to finish the meal. The waitress was so busy we didn’t want to have to send it back for new burgers. At this point my friend decided to try just the cheese and realized that is what tasted horrible. I tried mine and it was the same. Both of our burgers had provolone on them. We had ordered other food to go and when the waitress came back we told her what we had found and she apologized and said she would speak to a manager. Another long while went by and the manager came to speak to us and asked what was wrong. I explained the scenario and he said “So you got the wrong cheese?” And I said “No… this cheese is bad!” And he said well the cheese comes straight out of the packet and there were no other issues.” He didn’t attempt to smell the meal or check the cheese in the kitchen. Then said “Well what do you want me to do? Do you want me to remove these from your bill or you want new ones… it’s seems as though you’ve eaten most of it already.” I just said “no we do not want more food at this point” (we were there well over an hour) so he took the plates and said he would remove them from our bill.
Now granted we did have the items removed, but the way he addressed us was as though he was accusing us of lying for free food. His tone was sarcastic and rude. He did not address the fact that we seemed to have just ingested rotten food and this would continue to happen if they don’t throw away this cheese. I left feeling so nauseous and ended up throwing up. This manager had no consideration for our health. His approach and customer service skills where downright disrespectful. This is really unacceptable to be serving rotten food and I am concerned for other customers who may experience...
Read moreRed Robin earns a solid 4 stars in my book — it’s a consistently fun, casual place to eat with good food, friendly service, and a family-friendly atmosphere that still works well for teens and adults who just want a laid-back meal. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that classic diner-meets-modern-sports-bar vibe, with bright red booths, TVs playing sports or random trivia, and the smell of burgers in the air that kind of makes you hungrier than you thought you were. The menu is big, with lots of burger options, from classic to wild (pineapple and teriyaki, anyone?), and everything feels customizable — you can swap patties, remove toppings, or go with a lettuce wrap if you’re trying to be healthier, which I appreciate.
The bottomless fries are a huge win — crispy, well-seasoned, and super addicting, and if you ask, they’ll bring you more without hesitation. Their milkshakes are thick and indulgent, and the freckled lemonade is still a fan favorite. It’s not exactly “gourmet” food, but it’s good quality for the price, and portions are generous. They also have options beyond burgers — like salads, chicken sandwiches, and even vegetarian and gluten-free dishes — so there’s usually something for everyone.
Service tends to be friendly and pretty quick, though depending on how busy it is, you might have to wait a bit for refills or extra fries — nothing major, but it’s worth noting if you’re on a tight schedule. The restaurant is also family-oriented, so you’ll often hear kids laughing or the occasional birthday song from across the dining room, which is fun for some people and a bit much for others depending on the mood. Still, it doesn’t take away from the experience — it just adds to that casual, all-ages vibe they’re going for.
Overall, Red Robin isn’t trying to be super fancy, and that’s exactly why it works — it’s comfortable, tasty, and dependable, especially when you’re craving a big burger and fries in a setting where you don’t have to dress up or feel rushed. A few minor things (like noise or wait times during rush hours) keep it from being five stars, but I’d still definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a chill, satisfying meal with...
Read moreSo, We ordered on uber eats two burgers and fries and it said preparing the order, 15 minutes to be ready. Drove to the place. We waited from 3:50 to 4:51 to get our order ready! TOTAL NONSENSE! At the beginning they double checked the name, I gave it to them 3 times at different times while standing. I then asked them anything wrong? They didn’t tell me what’s going on until an employee came and told me that they didn’t get the order in the first place and now looking for it. I told them it’s on the prep status since I ordered how come you dun have it! Then 10 min later they showed up saying they found it, preparing it. I stayed calm to see what is the end of all this nonsense! No sorry, no appreciate your patience...nothing. My husband asked them why all this time ‘seems like they screwed up something but dun wanna admit or dunno how to handle the situation’. The guy said that they need the person to show up to prepare the order! Really??? What’s the point then of ordering on uber eats? Do the captains of uber or any other company wait to show in person to get their orders ready? Lol when my husband asked him does this make sense, the guy didn’t know how to answer and said it doesn’t. Our order arrived, he said quickly : here your order have a good evening!! Guys really? At least explain what’s wrong to let your customer wait for an entire hour for poor two burgers lol! At least say sorry you screwed up something on the system or dropped an order. Very unsatisfied with this poor experience! Never faced such problem with Red Robin any...
