The prices at this store are significantly higher than other Indian stores .No price tags for any of the items, and we have to ask the staff for the price , which was quite inconvenient. This lack of transparency made it difficult to make informed purchasing decisions. Their price justification was vague, citing “Freight costs," but this didn't align with my experiences at other similar stores. While other stores offer a decent variety of products, the excessive prices are unjustifiable, especially when comparable items are available at more reasonable rates elsewhere. If you’re looking for authentic Indian ingredients, I would recommend exploring other stores where you can get better value for your money. Read moreI have been going to this place for a while. It’s clean and well organized but they don’t put price tags on the items, so you never know how much it usually costs until you check out. On top of that, their stuff is expired or gone bad! I recently got these pani puris and even though they have yet be expired, it smelled and tasted very bad! If this was the first time I would have ignored it. I have had expired things in the past also. This is not just here but Desi Needs at Gurnee is also known for keeping things on their shelves past their expiration dates. Would rather drive 30-40mins to Patel Brothers. Not coming...
