Customer service is poor. I've never been eaten there before. We decided to oder for pick up since Tsukasa had a longgggg wait for take out (over an hour) and we have little ones. I odered over the phone and I felt like the guy was short with me. I work in the customer service industry so things like not saying "thank you", "we'll see you soon", "thank you for ordering" or even a "bye" before hanging up would have been not only professional but good things to say to someone, specially when I mentioned I've never eatten there before. I would think they would have tried to sound a bit more polite and profesional over the phone with a new potentially returning customer. Anyway, my husband went to go pick the order up. He said they were on the rude side and that he felt unwelcomed, like he was bothering them by being there. Okay so the husband got home with the food... anything fried (chicken nuggets I ordered for my little one and anything fried that goes on top of the sushi rolls) was WAYYY oily. I felt like I was taking bites of frying oil. Super heavy snd greasy. My toddler obviously didn't touch his chicken nuggets because of it, which didn't even look like chicken nuggets at all, they looked like stir fry chicken slices that were breaded and fried. Not good. The sushi rolls were good, but the oily fried topping was really heavy on my stomach and I felt nauseated afterwards. The sushi rolls themselves were okay but anything fried (including sushi toppings) I would stay away from. We did take out and customer service sucked all around doing that. Probably will not be ordering from...
Read moreWe have gone first to the original Sushi Kushi on Lake Forest when it was still a small restaurant. It expanded and when Sushi Kushi San3 opened we were there since it's was closer to where we lived. It was awesome for many years. However, the last year has been awful. First they concentrated on take out orders over tables. We waited over 45 minutes for a single sushi order while the staff prepared to go orders and the woman at the front counter disappeared. We waited a few months and went back, only to again have the service just as bad due to togo others and again, the woman that seemed to have been in charge disappeared. This time, the sushi was just okay, not the usual quality. This last time, today, again the service was bad until I got upset. Good was just okay for a usually superb restaurant and the woman this time spent need whole time taking immediate orders and hanging out with her friends table rather than taking care of the restaurant. After almost 30 years we won't...
Read moreI ate jam bbong, which is chinese-korean spicy noodle soup two times. First experience was good because it had lots of seafoods especially scallop and worth the price, 11.99. But the second expwrience was terrible because it was too salty and had just a small amount of seafoods and had no scallops at all. I asked the manager and the female owner why it did not have scallops today and his response was "jam bbong never has scallops in it." I was so shocked that they were not consistent in using the ingredients for the same kind of food. Their denial of use the scallop in jjam bbong made me a liar and I felt humiliated. I paid all the price and tips and decided never to return there. I regret that I did not show the picture showing the scallops in jam bbong. I forgot I got that picture. Whoever doubts about it I will send the picture if you want. Consistent ingredients in a dish is a promise to customers who would come back with the expectation of the same food...
