More than a movie theater- I moved to Meadville 3 years ago. The community did not fail to accept and make my family immediately feel welcome. I've grown to learn how supportive this community is of it's people. This business whole heartedly deserves all 5 āļø's. I occasionally visit the movie theatre for my children. They enjoy the arcade games and the comfortable seats. I usually take them on the $5 days and get them a kids pack. I rarely treat myself to a movie. If you're a parent you know exactly what I mean. I saw the Monkey Man trailer about a month ago and it really caught my eye. I decided to set up a movie date with my boyfriend who also loves action movies. My boyfriend happens to be deaf. Most theaters can accommodate hard of hearing and hearing impaired with a few options. The most common is a devise that bends in the shape of a goose neck and sits eye level so you can read subtitles while you watch the movie. As you can imagine that would be a bit difficult to follow and strenuous on your neck. This being our first movie date and something I only do once in a while I decided to reach out to Meadville movies for my boyfriend's experience. I had sincere hopes somehow we could improve his movie experience. I am greatful I did! Paul responded extremely quickly and kindly. He went above and beyond to make his experience enjoyable and comfortable. Paul and his assistant Thomas open captioned the movie for him and even put a few trailers in there with captions for us to look forward to. The experience was absolutely wonderful. Paul was so warm and sincere in person. We talked about the community and other events similar that he does for special requests. We even tried to pay extra and he refused to accept it.
I know this review is long, I apologize for the novel! If you've stuck with me all this way just take my word for it. Meadville movies and everyone who works there is truly above the best. You guys rock. Thank you...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI feel bad giving this place 3 stars because I appreciate that it's available however I dread going there for one reason and one reason only. The seats are so disgusting. The seats are dirty, there's usually something sticky on the side where I rest my hand (it's not soda). I feel like I may need to bring a seat cover of some sort next time I go here. I'm sure most movies have dirty seats but this one looks dirty or at least the ones I've been to. Maybe all the seats aren't. I usually sit in the first row or two and at the end which are the most popular seats and if they're dirty I can only imagine the middle seats. Of course the concession prices are like from another planet but it's the same at all movie theaters. The bathroom is huge and actually quote clean but no seat covers which grosses me out. I wish the bathroom was split with one big one on each side of the theater because you have to walk all the way to the front past the ticket taker to use the bathroom during the movie. But still I appreciate this location as it's the only one basically that's close however I wish they'd find a way to keep the...
