Learning Express — Local services in Verona

My daughter’s were excited to stop here on Saturday October 2nd, as we passed it on the way home from a family party. Upon entry the older woman behind the counter was telling people not to touch the counter, fix their mask etc. She was not pleasant about it actually rude for a kids store! Upon paying the woman told us to move so she could help the next customer. The man behind us said no need to move there’s plenty of space. We then asked the younger girl to look at some magnets and she went into this whole explanation that you need to be over a certain age to buy them? We just wanted to look at them! Finally after the long winded explanation she let us look at them but said if we’re going to buy them make sure we don’t have dogs and babies in the house or elderly people. So why is this product in the kids store??? Lol At this point I don’t even know want to purchase anything or be here! The owner should work on customer service especially with the older woman. I have taken my 3 kids to learning express repeatedly to shop for them and for the most part the staff was "ok", not very nice but "ok". Last week I took them to purchase a few items and that was just the end of it. The slim older lady (don't know her name) was incredibly rude. I have encountered that with her before but this time it was on a whole different level. She is rude and does not hide it. She is very obvious. Today was my daughter's 7th birthday! She has been asking to go to Learning Express for the longest time! We drove from Staten Island, upon entering the workers were dry but once they found out it was her birthday and that my little girl was obsessed with dinosaurs and names them all they were super attentive and generous! Even gave both my kids a gift! Found some super cool toys and gifts including this slushie...
