Navy Paddles — Local services in Verona

I have make orders twice with them. The first time I had absolutely no issues whatsoever and received an amazing paddle for an offgoing CO. The second time I placed my ordered (April 25th), everything seem amazing even when they sent me the design of the paddle. Once they sent me the picture of the paddle, the engrave was not in accordance with what I ordered, it was missing an entire embroidery section and a coin that I paid for. I did not sent them any items, I got the order entirely from their website. After I identified the mistakes on the engraving, missing embroidery section, and a coin I brought the subject back to them and this was their statement: "We can give you a discount on this order and our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Or we can give you a discount on a replacement paddle and change the engraved text to a 4x4 plate.", I was baffled when basically they were making me responsible for their mistakes and wanted me to make another order. They had already shipped the paddle since they missed my e-mail by 10-20 mins. I paid originally $292.00 for the paddle and $23.89 for shipping. I explicitly demanded that I am sending my paddle back and I want a correct paddle sent to me with no additional charges. Today I received the paddle (June 8th, since I have an FPO address and it took 18 days for the shipment to arrive) and I am sending it back with shipping that I have to pay, since they didn't offered to cover those expenses. I was doing some research around some companies that offered custom paddles, while hunting for a retirement gift and decided to give Navy Paddles a try. The process was very simple - offering ample customization without being ‘too much’. I sent off my requirements for the 1st order that I needed in about a month for a ceremony. The proof of the end product was sent quickly and looked great! When the final product came in, it was clear they took care to safely secure the product, and it was exactly what I had hoped for. All I can say it wow! From the start the service was amazing, making sure everything on your paddle is exactly where you want it with sketches and pictures all through email before they make it and ship it out to you! I also expected my paddle to arrive months out after creating the design but only ended up taking a couple of weeks afterwards. There’s also hundreds of colors, designs, and paddles to choose from giving me a world of creativity to work with. Paddle shipped with no damage, dents or scratches. My paddle design was so simple but so well made and just beautiful. I already have other squadron members asking me where I got it done and am recommending this place.
