I was quoted $85-$115 for my Pomeranian, although was told usually they are on the $85 end. When I got there, they said because of his coat condition, it would be $125 at the least, and that it may even be more depending on his behavior during the groom. Over the phone they made it seem like $115 was the most it would be. You can’t say no to the new price because they require you to put down your credit card info during intake before your first visit so they can charge you if you don’t cancel within a certain period of time- so I was stuck with the unexpected bill price before the groom even started. Their pricing practices seem to be similar to serenity pet spa. I suggest reading those reviews because you can expect the same bait and switch pricing practices from this salon. Two stars because the groom itself was decent.

I’ve been taking my curly-haired dog to Blossom Pet Salon regularly, typically every seven weeks, but this time, I went back in just four weeks since the last groom. Upon pickup, I noticed my bill was higher than usual. Initially, I assumed it was due to an additional service I had considered but ultimately forgot to request. However, when I inquired, I was informed that I was charged an extra fee for detangling.

At the time, I was disappointed that this charge wasn’t communicated to me directly upon pickup . However, I have since learned that it was communicated via text to my husband. While I appreciate the groomers’ professionalism and their effort to communicate, I’ve decided to move forward with another groomer who better fits my expectations given this is not the first incident of insufficient communication.

A few years ago when my long time groomer with my former golden and now my current golden moved away, I was fortunate enough to find Blossom Pet Salon, formerly Wiggle Waggle. I have been beyond impressed with their service and their professional approach. Winnie always looks so beautiful when I pick her up. She is a golden with lots of hair and I know it is quite a job to get her to look so very pretty. I would recommend Blossom Pet Salon to anyone.
