Ever feel like you're in a Tom Petty video? Deep cut? Anyway, at Alice Good in Verona was not good, it was great. First and foremost, this gigantic oat milk latte was an absolute 10 out of 10. It was exquisite. It was so good that I got a smaller version after this one. :-) they typically have a selection from Bloom bake shop, including gluten-free and vegan. However, I got there after Thanksgiving so Bloom Bakeshop was not able to make their usual delivery after having been closed for the week.. As a result, I tried this vegan chickpea salad (that's vegan mayo on top, I confirmed with the kitchen), and it was so, SO good! The staff was chatty, fun and friendly. They have the BEST homemade hot chocolate I've ever had! They make their own syrup, I believe with Columbian chocolate, and it's just phenomenal. It's not too sweet, and that dark chocolate flavor comes through beautifully. I am coming back for that, that's for sure!

In addition to the hot chocolate, which is so good it would be worth coming just for that, they have a really great menu with local breads forming the base of the meals. My current favorite is the Berry Ricotta Toast. They ricotta is the best quality I've had. Service has always been reasonably quick, and cheerful.

They have a wide variety of seating both inside and outside, with a combination of sunlit tables and cozy nooks with couches. Also, there's a curated collection of posters for local events that looks fantastic. I can't recommend this...
