If I could I would give it 0. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL and that’s coming from someone who GOT RECOMMENDED BECAUSE I GOT TIME TODAY and this is my first time being a dog mom and a first time bringing my puppies to this place, which I will never come back to again. Thank you to your ruthless and uncaring staff members in the front desk. I could just imagine what goes on behind closed doors. You would think this place is going to be welcoming and nice due to the area but they’re not. Its upsetting how unprofessional your workers are, first the girl with blonde hair and blue eyes at the front attends me and asked me for my dogs name with its appointment time. she doesn’t even bother to look at the computer and says I don’t see them here. Like okay? She then sees it and takes in my dogs but in a rushing matter because more people started to come in. I can just feel and sense my puppy start trembling and shaking which I should’ve took as a red flag and I feel as my part as an owner I failed. Without asking any questions I walked away rushed but nervously and worried for my puppies but somehow still felt like I could be confident in this place. When I get the call to come pick my dogs up because they were ready I got super excited and happy to see their first haircut on them. When I arrive there a tall man was at the front and asked the same thing the first girl did and I can just tell off the bat Hes just slow and doesn’t care. He proceeded to tell me okay I’ll be back. When THEY came back because it wasn’t just him which was very off and weird to me. Two other girls came out with him and the first girl handed me my first puppy Zeus which is my calmest baby. I fell in love with his look and honestly speaking I didn’t see anything wrong with him at first. But then I got handed blue my most wildest and energetic baby , I asked my brother and his gf to take the dogs to the car so I didn’t get a chance to see blue or his look. I stayed to pay and also ask for a receipt, the two girls walked away and the guy stayed to help. He literally didn’t even hand me a receipt he handed me a complaint sheet of the groomers spot lol he looked at it still handed it to me and it took him 10 minutes to do that… just odd. After that I went back to the car and noticed such a drastic change in energy towards blue he didn’t seem himself and I knew something happened because he just kept whining and whining like as if someone hit him or he’s in pain idk but just not him. Then my brother tells me when he was handed blue he seemed drugged and a little out of it, he also said the girl that handed blue over was trying to be slick because she covered and held blue in a certain position so it wasn’t noticeable. So I went back inside to complain of course and also because I noticed the receipt wasn’t even a receipt and he tried to play me. The girl with the blonde hair and blue eyes is at the front looks like she’s the main receptionist because it’s not my first time seeing her there. I went on and asked her did you guys sedate my dog and looks at me and says no we don’t do that here. I explain to her why I feel as they did and her response was because there puppies so they’re just tired and she had nothing else to say. So I asked to speak to the groomer myself and to see why they sedated my dog because I’m 100% sure they did. 5 minutes pass and she doesn’t come out with a groomer but instead comes back with what the groomer said he supposedly that he did good. Now I know yall lying because Blue is a loud tiny dog you can’t sit here and tell me he let the groomer cut his hair without barking at her like theres no way. And Like I said I know my dog very well but anyways I got upset and pretty much walked away, I never complained from that day till now because I wanted to brush it off. But I can’t imagine to put others through this feeling so I’m here to prevent that. And as far as this groomers spot…. do better with your staff, get people that genuinely care because we as pet owners is...
Read moreI brought my dog here based on the recommendation of my neighbors. I appreciate that many people have had a positive experience but mine was very poor. We signed up for their simple $50 "bath 'n brush" service which included a nail trim. Our 18 month old dog is about 50 pounds and has short hair. This was his first professional bath. We told them our dog gets nervous and they assured us it wouldn't be a problem. I arrived for my appointment and my dog was predictably very nervous. He is very motivated by treats and I brought a bag with me. They advised I should leave so they could get my dog comfortable. So I gave them the treats and left. A couple hours later they called and my wife went to pick him up. When she got there they charged her the $50 plus another $10 for their "anal expression" service which we never asked for (we have no idea what that service is so we are 100% sure we didn't ask for it). In addition they told us they bathed our dog but didn't trim his nails because my dog wouldn't cooperate. I totally understand. No problem. But then we asked they just take the nail trim service off the bill. They charge $15 for the nail trim as an add-on service. But the $50 "bath 'n brush" package we ordered included the nail trimming. I understand they might not have been able to take a full $15 off the $50 package price but they refused to take anything off at all. I fundamentally don't understand how they can charge me full price when they didn't deliver the full service that they committed to delivering. In the end we paid the full $50 for only partial service then an extra $10 for a service we never asked for. We spoke with mutliple employees about this issue that day and they all just kept repeating "we can't do that". If they had warned us that they can't handle nervous dogs and if our dog didn't cooperate they'd still charge us then at least we would have been clear on expectations and had a chance to decline using them. But we had an extended intake discussion over the phone when we first called discussing our dog's nervousness. I reiterated it when I showed up for the appointment. At no point did they hesitate and give a disclaimer this might not work and we would be charged regardless. It was mind-boggling and frustrating for them to not understand we just wanted to be charged fairly for the services rendered in accordance with their website. I gave them two stars because the bath they gave my dog seemed good and he felt and smelled clean. But that bath was overshadowed by everything else and unfortunately I won't be returning here. I hope others have...
Read moreThe most compassionate, caring folks around. I am the owner of Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch in Verona, a compassionate all-foster all-volunteer 501c3 rescue. We are often alerted and called in to rescue severely neglected dogs who are horrifically matted messes, covered in feces and urine, and have been so for years. Recently, we saved a poor little senior maltese mix who had been abandoned in an apartment building in East Orange. That little soul wandered the halls day after day, night after night, foraging for food, and looking for her family. And one call to Pamper Your Pets, and they squeezed us in. This is always our first stop, and with very little notice. They always squeeze us in, even if it means the owner needs to stay late into the night to ensure this poor baby gets bathed and shaved so they can feel a little better. Their top priority is giving this suffering animal some relief. And when I go to pay the bill? My money is refused. The rescue is not permitted to pay for these severely neglected cases.
If you're looking for a positive grooming experience for your pet, look no further. The love and unconditional care here is top of the line. Thank you to Pamper Your Pet for supporting our local rescue and putting the welfare of the...
