House of Bagels — Restaurant in Verona

Truly a simple review. Great place. Great crew, great food and great pricing as well. It sure doesn't hurt that the bagels are great also and spot on the money with being a classic Jersey bagel IMO. Unfortunately on our end, but by no means any doing on their end, but they're extremely busy because it's a good bagel spot, therefore it's a little difficult many times for phone orders, so one can call ahead. They do offer online app ordering so you can look that up whether it's any of the food pick up or delivery apps, but at bagel places I do not really like as much, I would mention that they had a POS, or touch screen ordering system and have two or 3 people solely for the phones to prepare pickup orders (obviously knowing which are their peak times like weekends, holidays etc). Taking a sneak at Bloomfield's Best'd process, would just make this place (and Lodi's) knock their business right out of the park with a grand slam. imo Was nonetheless I'm obviously sold as this being a great,...

It is a pity that this place got sold. This was my favorite in town. I tried giving them feedback to them but here saying the old The Bagel House will be missed. There was barely any schemer, the customer service is none now, I am debating on the hygiene as they go from touching the bagel to the cash register, it was cold by the time I got the bagel, they act like they are doing you a favor being there on how they talk to customers, I had to remind her a couple times that bagel should be toasted, as requested. I am so happy to write a review for House of Bagels because I find myself driving here weekly for these delicious bagels! The bagel shop is a 10 minute drive outside of my normal day to day routine but totally worth it! They are just perfect. You really have to try them to understand but they are always fresh, wonderfully chewy, and large. I also appreciate that they make blueberry bagels— not always easy to find. I also recommend the raisin walnut cream cheese and a hazelnut ice coffee to go with your order. It’s such a great way to start your day!
