Ordered 2 Wraps and 2 sides for delivery. Person on the phone hung up without giving an ETA. Around an hour wait I’m starting to wonder if I should call for an ETA. Around 1hr 15min I try to call. It goes to some answering service asking for my party’s extension. For about the next 30 minutes, I try to reach them by phone call and no calls get through. Finally, my phone call goes through, I say I’ve been waiting a while, trying to reach them via phone call, and ask for an ETA. They said they were backed up on orders and may not have taken my order earlier so if I want my order delivered I have to place it again. But they already charged my card? Then the phone gets handed to someone else and they say they didn’t know which apartment number and didn’t have a phone number to reach me at. First of all, I’ve been trying to reach you guys for 45 minutes and you cut your phone line so you couldn’t be reached. Second of all, you’d realize it doesn’t really matter which apartment number if you had tried to deliver to the address given. Third of all, we’ve ordered in the past about 3-4 times and you have our address and directions saved by our phone number. Never had an issue, the delivery person always knew where to go. So now they’re saying delivery is gonna be at our door in 5 minutes. We wait another 20 min before it’s actually here. We open it up, AND BOTH WRAPS ARE WRONG (btw the Buffalo wraps are NOT good). Food containers aren’t even closed properly, food spilled in the bags, and food was room temperature. We call for a refund and have to argue our reasoning, but finally they agree. Not one apology from this place. Wait a week, and guess what? NO REFUND. Horrible customer service. I understand you get busy, but there has to be some level of respect for the customer. Will never give this place my...
Read moreThis is an absolute Gem! I’ve only ordered delivery but they’re so friendly that I gave them 5 stars. As far as the pizza, it’s absolutely delicious. I love their perfect thin crust pizza with onions, everyone where I’m at is always trying to steal a slice, I’ve also enjoyed their fried Calamari as well . I have lived in Verona for 23 yrs and have always ordered from the Terminal since they opened, I pick them over Anthony Franco’s, Famous Rays, Espositos, Everyone. I always use SLICE to order from them, but supposedly they’ve been closed for the last 3 weeks. I have been Extremely Disappointed, I want to order a couple of onion pizzas this week. To the Owner, I’m the one who orders from the physical therapy facility/skilled nursing facility, I’d Really Love to order from you, believe me, it’s a Highlight that I looked forward to Every Weekend. As said I’ve been told by SLICE that you’re NOT Open, there was an Emergency about 2-3 weeks ago and now I’ve been calling before ordering and your phone just keeps ringing and SLICE Keeps telling me that you’re closed. I believe that I’ve been a generous tipper, a Loyal Customer, so if there’s something wrong I apologize as Everything that I wrote is 100% true and would Love to place an order Today/Tonight,...
Read moreMy first ever order from Pizza Terminal last night. Picked up two pies to go - a Sicilian Grandma & a Margherita Bar Stool. Now, we've ordered pizza across Montclair, Verona, Cedar Grove, Caldwell, & the Oranges for 20+ years and not counting this little place on Pine Street in Montclair that recently closed (Bivio), Pizza Terminal is maybe the best pizza I've ever had (and that includes NYC and the New Haven CT joints). For a Grandma pie I had always held Original Ray's in Verona as the ultimate. Well, there's a new Grandma in town. PT's is better. It's less doughy and more refined. Ray's version now seems like a block of lead next to it. As for the margherita pan, most people consider Star Tavern's pie as the model of what a NJ bar pie is supposed to be, and yeah, it's great, but Pizza Terminal's is better, fresher, & way less greasy. Of course, the extra grease is reason why a lot of folks love Star Tavern, but PT does it better. Guy working the counter at PT was very friendly, prices are great, so what's not to love? My only complaint, if I look hard for one, is that the menu is way too big. I would trim it down & focus on the best of the best. Highly recommend. And I totally dig the nod to the end of the #6 line City Hall subway terminal...
