IRON ATHLETICS — Local services in Vienna Charter Township

This is my favorite gym in Clio. The last that works front desk, and handles memberships, as well as massages is absolutely amazing. She is always so sweet, and she has taken time out of her day to show me good exercises for my goal, as well as how to use some newer machines. No one ever bothers me here. I put my earbuds in, do my workout, clean the equipment after each use, and go on my way. I've only had a few times where some younger (possibly teenagers) have hung out at the gym with no intent to work out, and hogged the machines just to lean on them and talk to each other. This has happened VERY FEW times, and I go to the gym everyday. Everyone here is rather respectful and mindful of those working out around them. GREAT GYM! I live right by the gym, so I am able to walk. Located in the old plaza on the old side of town. Great equipment, cardio, weights, ropes, etc. There is a wood floor room with mirrors all around for dance, or to take weights in there and work out alone. Staff are super helpful. About 34 bucks a month for a membership if it is automatically taken out of your account, or 39 a month I believe if not taken out. Way cheaper then snap fitness down the road. I hope these guys are around for a long time, I will be a long time customer. I really enjoy the atmostphere, it isn't judgemental and you are allowed to grunt while working out unlike planet fitness. Truly...

Equipment and location are terrific. Atmosphere is another story. Like most gyms there is a group of rather large, husky men in lifted trucks who park directly in the front window of the gym outside of a parking space. To add insult to injury, they're there quite often and i personally have heard them making fun of other gym goers on a regular basis. I know this can be easily ignored, just be aware if you decide to train here that this type of behavior is condoned as it happens during staff...
