I got a luxury pedicure and a very basic manicure, no color on fingers or toes. I just wanted a clean slate on both. The pedicure was as expected, the technician listened to my concerns of the water being too hot at first, no issues at all with the pedicure.

However, when she did the manicure it was very rushed. It was done in the pedicure chair as I expected it would be, that’s usually how it’s done when you get both mani and pedi. However, she really rushed through it. She used a reusable nail file, but I think the buffing block was new.

I have a habit of biting my nails, especially when they are uneven or I have hangnails. I’m finally starting to break it, and wanted a clean slate with my fingernails so there would be no uneven areas and they would start out smooth. Instead, I have 3 nails that are cut way too short. And I don’t mean in my own preference they’re too short. I mean they were cut down to the skin and are sensitive. My thumb was actually bleeding a little in the middle of the nail where it was cut down to the nailbed. I know she noticed because she kind of hesitated after she did it. I’m a non-confrontational person, and figured there’s no way to fix it once it’s done so whatever, and hoped she would just be gentle after that. She was so rough with the filing and buffing that the already sensitive spot was further irritated and the entire manicure was a sore experience. She also went so fast and rough while pushing back my cuticles that little pieces were peeling off, that were definitely peeling nail and not just cuticle...

Even though I have had mediocre service in the past I continue going back because it is close to my home. But think this may be the last time and drive to other nail salons. There are LOTS of them in the Dallas and Hiram area. This experience is pretty much like the last time I went. There were only two other ladies in the salon when I arrived and perhaps two more came in after me. I asked for a regular pedi and mani. I am truly convinced that's why I get lousy service not requesting an upscale mani. After the technician finished my pedi she went ahead and rang up my services. I glanced at my receipt thinking the charge was for both the pedicure and manicure. I gave her a tip before getting the manicure. She walked away with my polish and placed on another station. So I thought I'd go over there. But she walked in the back room and didn't come out. I waited for another 10 mins and she still didn't show up. So I looked at my ticket and she rang up a pedi only BUT a service charge of $3.25. I questioned the man there as to why I was charged the up service and I didn't get the manicure. He spoke in Vietnamese to the woman who did my pedicure. She told him it was for the polish removal. I didn't have polish on my toenails! And on top of all of that I gave her a 25% tip because she did do a very good job on my toenails! Boy, do I regret that now! So please be aware and look at your receipts very carefully! I went here for the first time being that I only live down the street and it was supposed to be a relaxing day and be treated by my bf. Well when I first came in I wasn’t greeted I had to ask is someone available. And then got confronted by a little boy which I guess was like a translator for them and I told him that I only wanted my natural nails done and my toes. Mani/pedi. No acrylic so that when he proceeded to tell me about the different colors there was for that and told me about SNS/SMS or whatever it was. I picked a color for my ding finger and another color for the rest of my fingers. After the fact. They told me a number and I said ok? What does that mean but didn’t tell me the number was an actual number to the seat.so the two people that did work on my hands and feet were very unprofessional especially the lady that did my feet. She was very impatient and inconsiderate. And the guy was antisocial. Every time I would ask a question about my nails, he would act like he didn’t hear it but then when I asked about money he would respond. Lolz!!! The lady that was doing my feet would bang on the bowl to put my feet up and then when she wanted my feet down she would just push my feet in the water. All in all the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail shop.. idc how far it is, I would rather travel 30 minutes than to travel to this one by my house. And then very unclean. I peeped the lady digging in her nose after she was done in my face. And a few had no face masks on....
