Another edit: It turns out if you leave a bad review they BLOCK you from their facebook page! That tells you all you need to know about how that place is managed. Going down to one star for that.

Revising an old review. I tried to reach out discretely at their listed contact info but did not receive an acknowledgement. I wanted to simply inform you of my perspective as opposed to placing a public review that wouldn't be flattering. I have left positive reviews before but feel it better to take this up in a different manner. This is the first time I have had a negative experience there, and it looks to be many new employees and training. We were asked if we minded sitting in the bar area, which we don't mind. Normally we drink there as well, but having just returned from a long trip just wanted food. We were right next to the kitchen and witnessed far too much. The cheese dip took far too long to arrive and was barely luke warm and lacked flavor. It didn't solidify though, so must be watered down. The food took EXTREMELY long to arrive. Our waitress, bless her, was doing all she could. Once it did arrive it was wonderful as usual. Now for the real reason I am writing. The entire meal we had to witness employees gathering in and around the bar. At one point at least 8 not counting the bartender - who was the only one attempting to work. These employees were "cutting up", joking, yelling, horseplay, at one point one slipped another a drink from the back. It was all very unprofessional, not something you want to see from people handling your food. If they were supposed to be working that should have been broken up, if they were off they shouldn't be out in the dining area, even blocking the kitchen doors. I know at least one was supposed to be working, because at one point she finally picked up a couple of drinks and half-heartedly carried them off, returning shortly after to resume leaning against the wall and chatting up other employees. In addition, we had to witness a manager admonish an incoming employee on her dress - it was done quietly but again was right in front of our table. Not professional. I do not want anything other than an acknowledgement you have received this, and hopefully a promise it will get corrected. I have avoided names and descriptions on purpose. Thank you.

Poor management. If I could go negative on stars I would. I called a week in advance to see if I can reserve a table for twenty people for my wife’s surprise birthday dinner. To my surprise when I arrived with my wife the entire party was in the lobby and when I asked why they were not seated they said that the table was not ready. So we waited a little while longer but eventually I got impatient and asked to speak to the manager. When I told him about my call to reserve the table but it was not ready he told me it was my own fault because they don’t do reservations. I told him that I was able to make one over the phone and I even showed him where they wrote my reservation down on their calendar. He said that who ever I spoke with should have never told me that and he was very rude. If he would have said that they made an error and be patient I would have happily waited. But the second he tried to blame me for not knowing that the employee I spoke with was wrong he lost my business for ever. That place has been going down hill for awhile but this was the last straw for my family. And to top that all off I also asked them if I could keep and ice cream cake in there freezer and they happily to it back there. But when we left to go to another restaurant they gave us back a melted cake because they left it out. Luckily my wife appreciates effort more than execution. So me and a large group other people had to walk into another restaurant with a melted cake and try and salvage the night. Thanks Labamba for such a terrible experience!

I will however tip my hat to Fiesta Azteca because they accommodated my large group and we had a great time. The food was wonderful and the customer service was second to none. If you want to give it a try turn left out of the Publix shopping center that this poor excuse of a restaurant is in and it’s about two miles down on the left at Dallas nebo road...

My wife and I rarely get to get out and enjoy dinner together. We normally do take out, but tonight we decided to dine in the atmosphere was fine. We normally don't have issues with this restaurant. But tonight was just plain horrible as we got our food. We started eating we noticed two long black hairs in my nachos I let the old man waiter know about it and he took the item off our bill and walked away we waited for a manager to come to the table to talk to us as both of us have been managers of restraints in the past so we understand stuff happens but still would expect a manager to come out and apologize or something nothing the waiter paced our table waiting for us to leave, we asked to speak to a manager because obviously this issue needs to be fixed the waiter had the audacity to say shush and put his hand out to quiet my wife which was very rude we eat here all the time spend alot of money and to be treated with such disrespect is just disgusting, we will not be returning nor will we ever recommend this restraint and will tell anyone to not come here because obviously if you bring up issues they think it's OK to tell you to be quiet because they don't want the other patrons to hear how they messed up and refuse to...
