Come to this location on a regular basis. The food has always been outstanding, and the customer service has been good. Today, however we had a different waitress, and was extremely disappointed. We found hair in the food and in the coffee. At first the service was good. Then after a little bit, āamazingā Kay did a great job of ensuring it was time for us to leave. We asked for our 2nd cup of coffee, and wanted it at the table instead of to go. Yes, we were done eating, but we wanted to enjoy the coffee and not feel rushed. I understand she only had 2 tables, she made that clear multiple times. My question is, if she only has 2 tables, why was our table out of 2 condiments and we had to wait on a coffee refill? If we didnāt have to wait for the refill, we would have been gone faster. I also did not appreciate her talking about us to another waitress... like we would not hear? She was right in front of us. I normally donāt want to leave bad comments, and everything is normally great, just did not have a great experience with āamazingā Kay. Remember ātime is money.ā Thanks everyone else, great job greeting everyone who walked in, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place wasnāt busy and it had been a long day at a viewing for my deceased Aunt. We stopped in to eat, they were practicing social distancing so we decided to stay and eat. There was 2 of us and one went to the restroom. I ordered 2 cups of coffee and 2 waters. She brought 1 of each. Went my friend arrived the waitress asked her what she wanted to drink! I guess listening isnāt what Amanda (?) our waitress does best. She seemed out off by the ordering of water along with our coffee. She brought 1 menu. As my friend and I were discussing what to order another employee went to the juke box, not usually a big deal, but it was LOUD and the music was not a great fit for Saturday evening, maybe at 2am. We decided to leave after only taking a few sips from 1 cup of coffee. The waitress asked what was wrong and I said the music is too loud and Iām gonna Pat for the coffee and go else where. She barely apologized and replied itās $4.28. We paid the bill, since there was no offer to turn down the music, we left no tip. Weāre 25% toppers especially with the social distancing thing going on. To bad, so sad Amanda, we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe occasional treat when traveling is a hot buttery waffle with lots of syrup! The Waffle House is the perfect place to get just that. I think the name sets up the expectation for the diner experience that one will have visting one of thes restaurants. I understand there is a hush hush silent semi-boycott of the Waffle House right now due to the unfair treatment of African American customers. I had kind of forgotten before I requested to go while visiting a state with a Waffle House. My bad! The food tasted pretty much like I remember. I enjoyed my hashbrowns and eggs with a waffle. The service was excellent. My guess they're probably polite in that small southern town all the time. I suspect that the Waffle House has probably provided some diversity training as well.š Either way I felt comfortable and didn't feel unwelcomed. My biggest suggestion would be to add turkey bacon , chicken sausage, or chicken wings to the menu. Everyone doesn't eat the red meat. I will definitely stop by the next time I am in a...
