Having come from a smaller apartment complex to Saxony Village, a much larger complex; I have been pleasantly surprised that there really was no difference considering the number of buildings/apts that are here. I have been here since August 2022 and have signed a 3rd lease.
The upkeep of the complex is taken seriously. The hallways are always vacuumed every week, the lobby floor of my building is also mopped. The lawn is mowed every week, the snow removal is immediate and walk ways are salted.
The Clubhouse building is awesome too. With the gym, self serve coffee area and the party room that you can rent out at a much cheaper price than finding a hall to host a party. I rented it Dec 2023 for Christmas and was sooo much better than hosting in my apt. The community grilling area is great too!! Alot of complexes do not provide that and when you can't have grills on your porch the only time you would get grilled food is somewhere else other than home. Several tables out there to be able to eat and relax out there. There are also games you can pull out of the cabinet and play. The firepit is awesome too along with the play area for the kids.
Maintenance requests are answered within hours and typically completed the same day. The techs are nice and professional and when they leave you are satisfied with their services they were there to do.
Not sure where some of the reviews of the office girls being rude are coming from, but I have NEVER experienced that. Bailee is very knowledgeable regarding the property and always polite and easy to talk to even if you are there to complain about something. Actions are taken immediately.
I would highly recommend Saxony Village to call home. People really need to understand that this is apartment living and there will be noise especially with a complex that allows dogs. It is very difficult to find apartments that even accept dogs and renting here gives people more options to be able to move into an apt. with a dog. If you want to be in complete silence, you shouldn't live in any type of apartment complex and buy a...
Read moreI made the mistake of thinking that because the building I moved in to was new, I wouldn't have the negative experience that some have mentioned in their reviews. If you're looking at moving in to the (green) new building or any other building for that matter, you'll have the same problems. Save yourself and don't live here.
You can hear everything to the point where the noise gives you headaches. The floors (or ceilings if you are on bottom) and walls feel like they have no insulation. My neighbors aren't loud people but I can hear their TV, cabinets, doors, conversations, even using the bathroom. Also, noise outside is very clear and everything echoes through the lot. I've never lived in an apartment where I could hear through the floor and walls this much.
As someone who has contacted management, I can say firsthand that Saxony Village Apartments does NOT take noise complaints seriously. I've reached out multiple times, even asking if they would let me out of my contract because nothing was ever done. They told me I would have to pay 3 months rent.
This place is not luxury and it is not a community. Luxury is not hearing your neighbor using the bathroom or their TV echoing through your walls and a community does not shake you down for 3 months rent during a pandemic when they are the ones unable to provide something simple like quiet @6am on Saturday or a moment of peace after a hard day at work.
P.S - Be careful of the office girls. I asked Conni a few things when I moved in here, it's become clear she lied or had no idea what she was talking about. Reviews can say they are nice, but they are just trying to get you to sign. They're essentially used...
Read moreI have lived at this apartment complex since the first building opened. We have liked it so much that we are moving to the second building that was just built for a 2 bedroom rather than 1. I feel as if the apartment is well insulated. Our GE bill is 1/4 of the cost is was at our old apartment in hales Corner. It's pretty quiet almost all the time but you have to remember, it's an apartment building, there are going to be certain apartments that may have louder walkers or talkers. Even if I can hear someone, it's muffled quietly.
The staff, honestly, I can't say enough about them. ESPECIALLY Connie. We have been dealing with Connie for our transfer, among other things this past year, and I don't have 1 negative thing to say. She is always bubbly, non judgemental, understanding, and caring. You can tell she enjoys her job and meeting new people. JBJ is really good with responding quickly to phone calls and emails. We have not had to call maintenance once the whole year we have lived here. Overall, I'm excited to move into the bigger apartment and I'm waiting in anticipation of the community room/fitness center/dog...
