This was a GREAT little store! I bought statuary, greenery, and decorative items. Loved the clothing and tried on several things. No dressing room though; had to try it on over my t- shirt. My mom and sister were with me and they bought some similar items and live plants too. I would so shop here again! However... BEWARE of the owner as she does not play well with others. We arrived shortly after opening. Since all the metal work and statuary was outside we looked there first. Everything outside had a price tag on it. We found several things we liked but wanted more than one. The owner came out while we were in the side yard and told us we couldn't shop there as items were not priced. We told her that everything we looked at and we're interested in had price tags on them. We told her what we were interested in and that we wanted 2 and did she have a second one of any of the items. She said it was possible but those things in the storage shed were not priced. We explained the first item was tagged. She still would not go check on the second items for us. I explained that we were from out of state and couldn't come back to check later as she suggested and that the 2 most expensive items we wanted to purchase for my mother for mother's day and she still wouldn't check for us! The items in question were between $50 and $100 and we wanted 2. You would think she would want to make a sale! I've never seen anyone more rude and totally unhelpful!! When we asked about a dressing room to try on clothes she told us that no one else needs one and to try it on over our clothes. Wow! We would have purchased so much more had she been friendlier and helpful. I still spent around$150. So I say, shop at your own risk.. hopefully the owner won't be around to look down her nose at you the entire time you are there! She has some super cute things and it is worth risking a run in with her but don't forget about the white barns as well! The people are much nicer...
Read moreWill never shop there again, terrible customer service. I purchased three different lawn items, one is so top heavy that it wobbles and continuously tips over. The other two, the bottom legs are uneven and won’t stay in the ground. I did not have the actual store receipt but had my credit card receipt. When I talked to Brenda on the phone, she said I could even exchange them for something that would stand. I went through the hassle of bringing all three in, when I got there she blamed it on the weather and it’s WI so of course they are going to tip over. I live two blocks away and have a flamingo that has never tipped over. She asked me for the date I came in, I’m assuming to look it up but then told me without a receipt and tags she wouldn’t know how to know the cost because shipping costs fluctuate, so please tell me how this would be even exchanged. So I am out $114 for useless decor and her solution is to exchange for the exact same thing. The smart thing to do would have been to give me an in store credit and keep me shopping there. I wasn’t looking for a refund. Instead she talked out of both sides of her mouth and lost a first time and last time customer. I’m in customer service too and you don’t treat people this way. It’s very sad because it’s such...
Read moreI can't say anything good things about Harvest Home. I went to visit them today on Small Business Saturday, even though I was just there on Wednesday. They have the most unique items and the store is so darn cute. I would buy everything if I could afford it. Although their prices are reasonable too. Today was an amazing day there, 1st they offered free hot cocoa from the most adorable little trailer and 2 little elves. I've never shopped while sipping hot cocoa, but it was the best. I found the one item that I basically went back for, because I couldn't stop thinking about it from Wednesday. Of course I had to look around because the decor is so admirable. When I purchased my item, they gave me (and everyone) a free gift today. It was wrapped in its own gift bag, so delicately and perfect. It was a beautiful kitchen Christmas towel. It almost made me cry- because it was so thoughtful. You can tell they appreciate your business. The workers are always incredibly kind. Everyone was wearing a mask today, if that affects your shopping experience. They have so much to offer, from decor to clothes to holiday everything. I strongly recommend you check...
