The Chocolate Factory — Restaurant in Village of Pewaukee

Today was my first visit to the Chocolate Factory. I erroneously ordered a wrap, misunderstanding that the sauce was not BBQ but BBQ ranch. I hate creamy sauces. When I took a bite, I realized it was very creamy. I then realized my error. Others at my table told me to ask if it could be replaced. I took one half back, explained my situation, and asked if it could be remade without the ranch. They said they would, but I would need to buy a whole new sandwich. This was not said with empathy, but instead almost a joy in being able to say no to my request. customer service is terrible. lady was very rude when we were waiting in line for the restrooms. we planned to buy something after as we knew that there is no using the bathrooms without purchasing anything. we proceeded to tell her that we were going to buy something after. she said that the person before us can go (seemed like she knew her personally) and then “we’re done”. we told her that we planned on buying something after and that i just needed to use the restroom. we have been there plenty of times and never had this issue. while we walked out she said “yeah i knew you guys weren’t going to buy anything”. YEAH why would we when you were rude. very unprofessional and seemed like she just didn’t like us even though we were very nice in...

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I have ordered two times through Uber Eats and twice have been shorted food. The receipts from both orders clearly shows that the order was entered correctly, but the missing items were not ticked off as packed. The second order even had a note to the restaurant to double check that all the food was accounted for before giving the order to the driver.

On a positive note, the food is tasty and portion sizes are generous. It's a good value overall, but The Chocolate Factory needs to work on quality checking orders.
