This is one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend this place at all. Joey is a liar. On June 28th I called to set an appointment for my Ford diesel truck and to seeif they could balance some trailer tires that I was having trouble with. Joey scheduled an appointment for July 8th. I had to call him back on July 2nd because he needed to check about the tires on whether they could do that and had not gotten back to me. I wasn't going to take 5 tires off and they couldn't balance them. I dropped the truck off on July 7th after hours. On the 8th I had not heard anything about the truck and called Joey at 2:30 pm. He told me that they were just pulling it in. Never heard back that day. I decided to drive there Tuesday morning to see if they moved the truck from where I parked it. NEVER MOVED. At 2:43 pm on Tuesday he called me and told me what was wrong and that they had to order parts from Ford. Wasn't sure about availability or how long it would take to get the parts. Nothing Wednesday. Nothing Thursday until I stopped at 2:30 to get my trailer tires back. I was planning a trip for the weekend and at the very least needed the tires whether they were balanced or not. He told that they finished the truck that morning but hadn't called me. Now I was even more mad because I drove there and now had to drive back again with someone to pick up my truck. I really wonder what time he was going to call me as I live 30 minutes away. Of course they expect to be paid immediately before you can get your keys. For a business that prides itself on customer service and satisfaction, just terrible how this was done. What is the purpose of setting an appointment when they don't honor it. I can't believe how I was treated considering I had taken a vehicle there for a company that I used to work for and they were usually good about getting the work done. Now they are going to respond to this with how sorry they are about my experience. What they should be doing is admitting that they lied to me and how many other customers that they have lied to. Maybe then they could become a more honest business. In the mean time I will be looking for another place to...
Read moreI've been taking my car to Richfield Service for many years. I have no connection to them, so my review is from a regular customer, not their buddy or a relative. I'm an old car guy, so I know when someone is B.S.-ing me, and I'm very particular about the care of my car. I have a lot of examples over the past few years of the great work they've done for me, and everyone I've recommended to this shop. The people are friendly, the work is always done well, and if there is a problem they don't stop until it is fixed TO MY SATISFACTION! My latest example: I had a shimmy in the front end above 70mph on my car with 210,000 miles on it, and it took a while, but they finally figured out 2 of the new tires I had put on a couple months ago were defective in a subtle way that was hard to detect except with some specialize equipment they had. But the real story is the lengths they went through to find and fix it! The owner got involved after initial attempts at balancing, etc. didn't completely solve the problem. He used his own personal vehicles to swap tires and compare, took my vehicle on road tests himself, and spoke directly to me several times on the phone to get more info, update me, and give me technical details on how they were troubleshooting the problem. In the end, they found and replaced the defective tires, went the extra mile with some other things that may have contributed to the problem, and gave me the car back to test myself and report back to them whether it was fixed in my opinion. Guess what? It was amazing! Smoothest ride I've had since it was new, the work was covered under warranty, and I am super happy that I work with these guys and not some other shop that would have given up and said "good enough" before I was happy. I have about 20 stories like this from over the past few years, and so do my friends and family that take their vehicles there for service. I wish I'd have written a review to give them kudos earlier, but this time I had to! Give them a shot and I think you'll likely always take your car...
Read moreHad an issue after putting air in my tires. 2 of the tire valve stems had 'locked' up and remained open for whatever odd reason. Once the cap was removed air continued to quickly release. I called Richfield Service and explained to Sean the problem I was having. He got me in 1st thing next morning. I waited in the service lounge while it was being worked on. Sean came and got me after about an hour to tell me I was good to go. They had replaced 2 valve stems, which entailed removing both tires from vehicle, etc and then filling up and putting back on vehicle. I walk up to the service counter and Sean says, 'no charge'. me: very perplexed at what I thought I heard. Asked him to repeat what he said and sure enough, he said you're good to go, no charge. I'm thinking I had to have been standing there looking back with a very blank stare as I was trying to comprehend what he said, and I apologize to them as I currently type this. In my defense, this is not something you see anymore...... anywhere! All I can say is thank you to you and your team for doing what you did for me. I absolutely plan on being a regular customer from here on out, especially after reading these other reviews of your business! Sorry for such a long winded post.... just wanted to once again, express my appreciation for your...
