If I could give ZERO stars I would!! The lady working the register, is nothing short of rude. If you want customers to come back and buy your product, little tip, don't be disrespectful. There are better ways to react and handle situations than you treated me today. You humiliated me in front of other people when I simply made a mistake and even apologized for it. Do you know you ruined my entire mood? I'm a nurse who just worked three 12 hour shifts at the hospital and all I wanted to do was enjoy our lovely farmers market. Instead, I got yelled at and belittled. Is it so hard to be kind? You never know what's going on in someone's life and your words can be the one thing that brings them to their breaking point. I wrote a review of how I felt at the moment and it was not a good review 2 years ago. Forgiveness is something I am quick to give so I returned the following season and asked the same person to please pick me a watermelon. The lady picked my watermelon with pride and handed it to me and it was a wonderful black diamond watermelon. She has since picked me out many more. At VB farmer's market booth I inquired if they use chemicals & pesticides on produce & got lots of attitude. The woman working the register advised they spray everything so I decided not to buy from them. She even stated they spray sweet potatoes so they get sweeter...whatever that means. As I walked away she very rudely yelled that I "didn't know anything! Even organic foods are sprayed!"
