Molly Ramen•Poke•Tea — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I think we found my husband and I’s cute little date night spot! This is our first time visit and we were greeted by the kind lady at front. We were struggling looking at the menu on TV so we decided to order in the self service Kiosk, so I highly suggest you use that. I love how we were able to take our time to order and review the whole menu. I must say this is an introvert’s dream. They have variety of food and drinks. My husband and I decided to order Peach Yogurt Smoothie, Takoyaki, Crab Rangoons, Crunchy Roll, and Shrimp Tempura roll for take out. Once we ordered from the Kiosk we just sat down and wait. For clarification, the kiosk DOES NOT force you to tip. There’s literally a 0% if you choose not to. The kiosk also lets you modify your order easily however you want it. As for the service, they got my drink really fast. The ladies at the front updates us about our orders as they made our food, in fact they actually apologized even though it wasn’t bad of a wait, it was very worth as we enjoyed all of our food! As for the price, I’d say it is more affordable comparing to other places we’ve been to. When our order was ready, the awesome lady at the front gave my husband a free mystery smoothie! He was so caught off guard and it made his day a lot! So I really appreciate coming here and discovering this place. My husband is a picky eater and he enjoyed the mystery drink flavor really well! He rarely finishes boba drinks but he genuinely enjoyed this one much to my surprise which is a plus. Apparently they have other locations as well, but we will probably come back here as it is more convenient plus we really enjoyed our experience here. The packaging - I have never seen a place put so much investment into packaging like this. The take out bag is reusable and the ramen was so smartly packaged (small reservoir for the noodles and ingredients suspended over the broth). I was not expecting that for the price we paid.

The food - everything was fresh and delivered just what I was looking for. The garlic chicken came on the side for the ramen giving me the option to just dive in to the chicken or add it as I wanted to the ramen. The gyoza tasted on point although I might recommend getting it in the restaurant instead of take out (steam made them a little rubbery). The slight char on the gyoza showed respect for the food. I do wish the egg in the ramen was marinated but it was soft and delicious even so.

Today I had a coupon for BOGO wings. So decided to try this place again because the first time I went I got the poke and it was very much meh. Even with the sauces it lacked flavor but that was in 2022. Today, I got the Pork Ramen with the pork broth and the Korean wings (one with sauce and one without). Let me start off by saying these Korean wings WITH the sauce was AMAZING! 10/10 would get again and would tell everyone to get them! I didn't even want to share them, so freaking good! The Ramen was very meh. It lacked flavor. Would not order again. The $1 ramen packets you get from the store have more flavor than this. When I went in to order the women behind the counter was nice. Their touch system for payment wasn't working so I had to go back to get my wallet. Once I came back and paid, I waited less than 5 minutes before it was ready.
