I have a very detailed review that I am unfortunately unable to post because of length. We visited on a Saturday night at 7:00. The restaurant was empty. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. My husband was served rotten fish ( consistent with other reviews). The filet in the oversized puff pastry in the Wellington was gray, beige and then pink; dry and unappetizing. Nothing looked like website photos. Food is very overpriced and barely edible! They are trying to salvage product at the expense of customers. They are presenting as a fine dining chophouse when our waitress could not open a bottle of wine and stated that at our table. We discussed our experience with the manager before we left. He admitted they are aware of their short comings and hopes they will make some changes. We suggested, start with training your staff to meet the advertised culture of the restaurant. He was indifferent and wished us a happy anniversary. We contacted the owner and she discredited our whole experience, disputed everything we said, but offered to get back to us. She never did. We reached back out after several days and was told they have been in the business for over 14 years and there is nothing they intend to do. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $!! . This was a special occasion that was so disappointing. There is soo much more to our experience. I will find somewhere to post it. I always wish business/ restaurant owners succes, as I know it's a difficult business, but these people do not deserve to take peoples hard earned $ with no regard. The nicely decorated, inviting atmosphere was empty and most likely will continue to fail under these practices and perspective. You will get better food and service at the Outback for a fraction of the cost! It was honestly one of the worst meals and experiences we've ever had. Update to add owner cussed me out and hung up on me.. accused me of...
Read moreFirst let me just point out that this is a bar, it is not in any shape a restaurant and as such is no place for a family. The bar is located right in the middle of the joint as soon as you walk in. They have about 20 tables positioned around the bar area. There is a back room where people kept coming and going with food and drink. The noise coming from that area was overwhelming throughout the bar. The beer selections on a Saturday night were miniscule, and we were told that they had a band the night before and sold out of alot of stuff. We were recommended the tator tot nachos as an appetizer, apparently they are known for these. They tasted like the grease hasn't been changed out since they opened the joint. I ordered the waffle burger, let me just say don't get it, the bacon jelly was so salty it over powered the entire meal. I had the side of Mac and cheese, the waitress told us they make it fresh when you order it. Well, there was no cheese taste to it and the rue was clumpy. My wife ordered the pork belly burger, she didn't even finish half of it. The most disappointing part of the entire meal though was when the manager finally made an appearance at our table, she asked how everything was, I said, the food was ok. She then just gave me a frowny face and then walked away. If this place is at all related to the one on Laskin Rd. They should be ashamed of themselves. The only reason I gave this place 1 star was because of the server. Everything else is sub par. I can honestly say that I won't be coming back and I will make sure not to recommend this...
Read moreFirst and Last visit. Came due to good reviews and expected high-end experience, but terrible service from the moment we stepped in when the hostess asked us multiple times what name our reservation was under, then left to prepare a table and came back and said she readied the wrong table and left again. Waiter took a while to take our order and his first words are the kitchen was running slow even tho there was not even a dozen customers. Then every question we asked, he had to get help for so lots and lots of waiting. Tables were very close together and waiter couldnt hear us over the noise of another patron using their phone on speakerphone. He went for help (again) and the mgr's solution was to call me and my wife "ladies" and ask us to move 2 feet to the left to the very next table, which we declined. My wife's steak was made wrong twice (1st overcooked, 2nd burnt outside/unseasoned) and they didn't even have the courtesy of comping it off our bill. Lasagna also came out overcooked/blackened, and the creme brulee, (which we were really looking forward to), had a hardened layer under the caramelized sugar and did not at all taste freshly made. $185 wasted here as the only thing we actually ate was the risotto and bread/sweet butter. Save your money and time and eat somewhere they treat customers with...
