I came here on a FB recommendation because my usual girl was unavailable. I called and asked for an appointment with Thao because I followed her on social media and thought she did quality work, boy was I wrong. Firstly when she began she told me that she’d need to cut ALL of my nails and apply tips on ALL of them to correct the shape (uh, what? So you could charge me for the tips?). I told her not to cut them. Secondly, I did dip powder and when she was applying the final clear coat I noticed some nails were splotchy without color but the thumb was the biggest issue. I asked her if she could fix it but instead she told me “it’s too late for me to fix it” (excuse me?!). I’m paying for a service. I saw it and I KNOW you also saw it but you continued to put the clear coat on anyway in hopes I wouldn’t notice or I wouldn’t care. Where’s the quality? Where’s the craftsmanship? Do people no longer take pride in their work for every customer? So to attempt to remedy the nail, she used nail polish similar to the dip, for my toes to cover the splotchiness. They don’t care about the quality of their work here, they just care about getting paid and getting you of out the chair asap. Had she fixed the nail I would have tipped her and appreciated the fact that she would have gone out of her way to fix it but she didn’t. My nails are all different sizes, my toe nails smudged after 6-7 minutes of waiting for them to dry (which is how long they told me to wait). I’m disappointed in the lack of customer service, quality and craftsmanship. I will not be returning here nor will I recommend this place to anyone else. Waste of $85...
Read moreI was referred to this place for a birthday gift...never again. 1st visit the nail tech looked at my nails and told me that I needed to get a complete soak off which I did not want or agree to so instead she filed my nails down extremely thin and low which are my real nails with acrylic overlay. By day five my nail broke and I contacted the nail tech and she told me to go in on that Sunday which I had came in that Monday for the repair. I was told that no one will be able to take care of me Sunday so I had to come back again the following day . The owner repair two nails due to a secondary nail about to break due to the thinness of my nails after their nail tech did my fill in. The original nail tech went out of town and took the colors that was on my nails with her and they could not match my nails. I was told that I had to pay to get the color redone or have two different nails that did not match my full set. I told them I was not paying and I should not have to pay because if it was done properly the first time I would not be sitting in the salon day 3 in 7 days. After a very rude debate with the owner the service was done without me paying but unfortunately my nails are shaped crooked, the airbrush is chipping off and none of my nails are the same length or shape. This is day 5 after the repair and new airbrush. Both visits I was never offered a bottle of water or a mimosa which is one of their selling points to bring customers in. Luckily I don't drink alcohol or filtered water but customer service should still be a priority. This was a 3-day $150 experience that I will...
Read moreAwful. My regular place was closed and I was in town from college so I stopped here after going to Sally next door. I simply wanted a manicure with dip. The first offense was that the tech took the drimmel tool to my cuticles to cut them off. That’s painful and it damaged my nail in a way that I STILL, 8 weeks later, have a curved dip across each nail where the tech drilled into my nail while removing the cuticle- with an electric file tool- come on! Second offense was that the dip turned out about 1/4” thick which is insane and on top of that it was WAVY as in high in some spots, low in others. Third offense was was that the dip turned out looking almost like a weird tie-dye between white and pink. I chose pink, something was either wrong with her technique or her dip powder. FOURTH, when I left I had to file my freshly done nails myself to make them the same length. They were all different shapes and sizes! A kindergartener would have done this quality work. Basically the entire thing looks like crap and destroyed my nails. 2 months later my nails are still recovering. I had the dip professionally removed after waiting a couple of weeks with this dreadful manicure trying to allow it to naturally loose up. It was one of the most expensive manicures I’ve had and they didn’t even do anything but shave my cuticles off with a drimel, file my nails, dip them and then proceed to point at the lotion bottle and say there’s some lotion for you. The salon itself is nice and apparently they’ll serve you drinks (I didn’t partake) but I...
