I was very disappointed with what I received in my order yesterday, not to mention the very poor communication leading up to picking the order up. I initially called 3 weeks ahead of time to order a "baby cake", I explained I did want it two tiers, gluten free and sugar free and I was happy to send a photo along to detail the style. Everything seemed great. I emailed the photo and had not heard any confirmation it was received. I called, nope, not there. Alright, I'll send again. This time I stayed on the phone with the person who answer, and they confirmed it came through. I again reiterated the order from the previous phone order, that I put in a week prior. I got a call back explaining some items couldn't be sugar free, and I let them know I completely understood and that was alright. Everything seemed great. I received a text message approximately a week before pickup saying exactly, "Hi it's My Vegan Sweet Tooth regarding your order for this weekend. It says you are emailing a picture for your baby cake, but we never received one. Please text it to this number so we can see if there is an extra cost. Thank you." Now this is annoying. I then TEXTED the photo, to whoever messaged me and explained I emailed it TWICE. This was the exact response "Ok sorry, that was awhile ago, it should have been put on the slip. Just to confirm, it's a sugar free cake and the drip down glaze will not be sugar free. We can fit the name on, but it will be very small. We won't have room for the other items. Just confirm that sounds good. Thank you!" I said that sounds good. April 3rd, I picked up the cake. It was my son's first birthday. If any other parent could see the hideous cake I received they would have cried too. Thank goodness it was cheap. We didnt even touch it. I brought it home thoroughly embarrassed. Even if they made it small, even if though it looked NOTHING like the photo I sent, not even closely resembled it, it was so poorly done it was shameful. I definitely will not go back to this bakery. No matter the reviews and the adorable shop they have. The service I received was absolutely pitiful. I want my 12 dollars back and the valuable time I wasted driving there...
Read moreI love that they have gluten free options. The cheesecake is the best thing I've tasted out of everything I've tried so far. The chocolate one was ok. The white chocolate lemon was fantastic. Well balanced on flavor and very smooth texture. I could eat this every day if calories weren't an issue lol. The chocolate chip cookies are my second favorite. They are not the kind you dip in milk. They are soft baked and melt in your mouth. You drink milk with them, if milk is your thing. The rest, was a miss for me. I do not like their cakes. Oddly, the carrot cake was too smooth and the lemon coconut cake was way to textured. The lemon cake part was almost gritty. I hadn't had lemon cake in over a decade so was excited to try it. $7+ for a slice and 2 fork fills later, I threw it away. The brownie bites were not good. Didn't taste like a brownie. The flavor was off like there was coffee in them. I hate coffee. The cupcakes? Maybe I got the bad 2, but there was more icing than cup cake. Instead of a small tunnel through the middle for icing in the cupcake, more than half of the inside of the cupcake was missing. Those got thrown out too. The donut I got was chaulky. Also thrown out. Even though there's literally only 2 things I would buy from there after 3 years of sampling things when I got a craving, I still give this place 4 stars. It's a nice place with a great staff. Very clean and well put together. It is a small place but there are tables and chairs to sit if you decide to dine in. Finding desserts gluten free and egg free is very hard so even if it is only 2 desserts my taste buds are happy about, I'm happy to have those 2 options. Not everyone's tastes buds are the same. I've sent others there and they've loved what they bought. Maybe I'm the odd ball. I would still genuinely recommend you give this place a go and see if there's something you like. I mean come on. They even have ice cream, and fresh lemonade. How...
Read moreSoooo I am kind of disappointed because it was a 43 minute drive and I was excited to try it. Maybe that’s how all vegan desserts textures and taste are because I have been on my vegan journey for close to a month now. But the juices the blueberry ginger one fire and the strawberry lemonade was fire. I got the ice cream cookie which was pretty big a little bit expensive buuuut the texture was horrible it’s was like gritty like it left a bunch of small cookie hard residue in your mouth maybe because it was frozen the texture was like that. The taste wasn’t bad it gave chocolate chip but maybe a cheap dollar store chocolate chip flavor. The red velvet cheesecake brownie I was excited for because I love cheese cake. And it tastes like play dough I couldn’t finish it. I couldn’t finish the cookie either and I hate wasting my money. Now after both of those were an epic failure I was afraid to try anything else I bought and thought if the main products weren’t good they should just stick to selling juices because those were the best tasting things. But the banana pudding came through it redeemed everything else. It was edible and pretty tasty. It may be hard to make really tasty desserts when using substitution and get close to the original I don’t bake, I am chef so I don’t know. And the Whoo pie the texture is not horrible but still throughs me off but I believe I can finish it. But don’t put it near anything because it soaks up scents fast sooo I think it soaked up my candle or scent from my house. It was $61 for 2 drinks, 2 banana pudding, red velvet cheese cake brownie , chocolate chip ice cream sandwich and the whoopie pie. It was pretty pricey but I guess they are taxing on everything nowadays. They had state tax and sale tax added to my receipt as well. I wouldn’t go back but it was a cool experience. Customer service wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best he just wrung me up and barely spoke any words to me. Just...
