I bought 2 pairs of jeans during the holiday season, went in to return with tags still attached, it was busy, the cash register said “we are slammed right now but if you write down what time/date you purchased i can call you and get it returned without a receipt later today when we’re not as busy.” I heard nothing and then emailed customer service that following week and after a few respective emails I got a response referring me to vb’s customer service. The manager asked what happened, and I responded then never received a response. I’ve been asking for an update for a month now, I finally got ahold of the manager, she connected me with the senior manager, who then said “oh yeah I’m sorry she should not be telling people that” (how to return with checking the time/date.) im upset because these jeans are literally just sitting in their bag with tags still attached. They do not fit. I personally feel like this is a problem she should take up with her cashier for telling customer that that was able to happen instead of telling me “no, she shouldn’t be saying that.” I have worked in retail and there is always a way to return things, and I do believe he abiding by your policies, but for this one, a faulty cashiers words shouldn’t necessarily...
Read moreCute shop - like a craft fair/farmers market but in a store. There was a lot of variety, but also a lot of similar stalls. I loved the local, actually handcrafted things. There was a lot that would be easy enough to get online or was like home goods mass manufactured decor that just fit the local theme/aesthetic, but wasn’t actually local or handcrafted or special. It’d be a perfect place to get something for a white elephant present for any age woman/girl. A few stalls didn’t seem to fit in the space and the layout was odd where some hidden gems were further back and some nonsense stalls were front and center. It would be nice if they were organized more by theme or something to be able to compare similar items, but I get that’s not good for the seller versus the consumer. I think the space could be made much better with a few extra little things or minor changes - it is nice, but it has so much potential to be really great! It’d be nice if more stalls had their contact info more prominent to find them outside of the space - I liked those with QR codes, business cards, or more obvious signage so I can support them...
Read moreAs a vendor and a customer at the Virginia Beach Painted Tree Boutique, I have to say how much I love this store!! I love how I can find almost any type of gift or item for my household and many of the booths provide great inspiration as to how to style items as well. So much talent and creativity can be found within these walls!! I also greatly appreciate the staff as they have been most helpful to me as a vendor and as a customer. As a fairly new vendor, I'm constantly asking questions and they are always very helpful. I have to give a big shout out to Sam the Assistant Manager as she has personally helped me too many times to count. I'm so glad to be a small part of such an awesome place that allows me to show off my art...
