I had an awful experience here. I was standing in line with a $9.99 child's sand wheelbarrow for my 18 month old son. He was standing outside with my blind father and sister waiting for me to check out. I was anxious to get to them as it was getting dark and their registers were malfunctioning and taking a really long time. They opened the other register right beside me and the lady at check out asked for the next person in line. I wasn't the next person in line (secons to next) but the people in front of me had to push through me to get to her register. I asked very nicely if I could just give her the $11 that was in my hand and just walk out to my son. She replied very loudly, "No! Why don't you wait in line like everyone else and wait your turn. Be fair!" She then proceeded to talk about me and roll her eyeys to the people check out. The people in line were astonished by her response and apoligized. While I don't disagree with what she said, it was incredibly embarrassing and inappropriate. You shouldn't treat people or a customer like that. I placed the wheelbarrow down and walked out. I will not support an establishment that treats someone like that and humiliates them in...
Read moreSandbridge Market has been one of my favorite stops when on vacation, ever since I was a little kid. The owners have done a lot right here and everyone who comes with me on vacation loves the atmosphere and classic aesthetic this store gives off. The food they prepare is good and the donuts are the best. Yes, you will pay CVS/Walgreens prices, thatâs just the way it is. But, nothing was too unreasonably priced. To the people that say: âOh my, $9 for a large tub of crab dip?â, well buy one and try it and youâll see why itâs that much. Because itâs damn GOOD. Plus, who wants to drive all the way back down Sandbridge road for a few dollars off beer? When the selection here is pretty decent. (You probably wonât be able to drive anyway when youâre on vacation after 5pm đș). So please stop by if youâre here on holiday and enjoy all they have to offer. I love this place. Try the restaurant next door too, and order some Clams Casino đ. Thanks...
Read moreI grew up in sandbridge, so obviously I have come here a lot. I remember when there was still a payphone on the side of this building!
It's a very convenient place to go if you need something to eat or drink and don't feel like driving for 30 minutes out of sandbridge. They also sell bait, tackle, and fishing gear, as well as beer and wine. You can't beat the lunch specials they make in the kitchen, and the old bay fries are AWESOME!!
They also have a lot of premade sandwiches and breakfast items to just grab and eat on the go.
They make donuts and muffins fresh every morning!
I will say some things are a little expensive, but if you don't feel like driving out of sandbridge to Walmart or something, you really can't complain too much. You'll spend that extra money you save in time and gas just...
