Bad experience I checked out 6/08/2024 at 5:25 PM with Raul Daza. I purchased their Rosin Tech labs buy one get one free. Upon driving home, I noticed my receipt only had about 40% discount, meaning I was overcharged $30.

Normally I wouldn’t care but it’s the premise so I went back and asked them if they could give me the $30 in store credit. They offered me a refund on Saturday. I told them I don’t really want a refund. I would just like a price adjustment. They told me the manager would be available to speak with me on Monday.

I called Monday morning to confirm that the manager was in store. I drove in and the manager refused to speak to me. The female bud tender with a green HUF shirt refused any compensation and refused a refund. I’m leaving this review with hopes that The Cake House will make this right. I left my contact information.

When I went in on Saturday, my bud tender Raul told me that 50% would be applied to my receipt. He also offered me a refund on Saturday. When I went in today on Monday, they would not accept a refund. You deserve to have a letter sent to the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) for not upholding your prices.

My subtotal was $409.92 and my discount does not reflect buy one get one free. I confirmed with my bud tender that it is buy one get one free of equal value and not of lesser value. I should not be told one thing and then charged another. He also told me if I come back in on Monday the manager would be willing to speak with me and if he could not offer compensation, he would offer a refund. None of that happened. What can be said about the Cake House in Vista that hasn't already been said? If I were to prioritize the benefits of going here it would be #1 first and foremost the fact that this is the only (or one of) that allows you to walk through the store with your shopping basket and actually handle the products. I am able to look at the different boxes of each strain, and see which one I want to buy--based up on the size/looks of the nugz. #2 would EASILY be the quality of their staff! The folks working at the Vista Cake House know their stuff! my go-to has been CHLOE, the super cute pink haired gal. She seems to know all the best strains, and eddies between the various brands. Imagine a place with unlimited supply.. how do you know what to choose? I suggest you talk to the staff and get their opinions because I do NOT get the impression they are getting any kind of kick-backs, but that the info they share is wholeheartedly honest. Personally, I trust Chloe and her opinions on eddies and flower, because we seems to have similar likes. There is also a guy (can't recall his name) with a goatee that knows his stuff. Dude's a G fosho. A+++ service, along with the best vibes at any dispensary out there. Vista Cake House is my favorite go-to and I travel to LA, Irvine, etc... still prefer Vista Cake House over all of...
