Moe’s Giant Pizza — Restaurant in Vista

My husband and I decided to get the mega XL pizza, wings, and jalapeño poppers. My husband and I grabbed a slice each and mind you the pizza is cut up into little squares which I wasn’t a fan of. We both noticed that the pizza was very dry and lacked a lot of sauce. The wings were very dry and had barely any sauce, and the cream cheese in the jalapeño poppers tasted very off. So I send my husband to go return ALL of the food and the owner comes to my husband very aggressive and states he can only refund 50% because we took a a piece of square of the food?? My husband had to call me and I’m having to go back and forth with him on the phone. He’s telling me everybody loves his pizza and he’s gonna have to throw it away in the trash since I took 2 squares from it. I said back to him that I’m not everybody and I’m allowed to get my money back if I all I did was take 2 SMALL SQUARES from the food. Then he said 60% and I said no I want all my money back. At the end of it all he decided to give me 90% of my money back but only charge me for the wings THAT I DID NOT EAT. I just decided to accept it at this point because my husband said he tried to start recording which is just so unprofessional. Then as my husband is walking out the door he’s mumbling rude comments under his breath. He has a bunch of kids working there as well which isn’t a problem but it’s the fact that you would be so nasty and treat people disrespectfully in-front of children. The food...

Have been hearing a lot of good things about the food and service at this small pizza spot and I can say with confidence, it is true. The first thing you notice is that this pizza place is 100 percent different than the one that used to be there. It is so much cleaner and so much friendlier. The owner went out of his way to greet us and I appreciate that. It has a simple look to it and I loved it. Sometimes less is more. It's not cluttered and you can tell they are doing their best to give you a good experience. They did. Now the important part. The pizza is a New York style thin crust delight. The sauce is freshly made and spot on the cheese to sauce ratio. So that is good. You get to customize your flavor of pizza. I just opted for oldie but goodie pepperoni and that definitely makes me want to explore different options since the basics are done correctly. Though I wish we had an ice cold beer I don't blame them for not having it there and definitely need to add lemon pepper wings to the menu but for what if offers, I was very satisfied. Give this place a try and stop wasting money on Domino's and Pizza Hut. Spend it on this business....

Wow ! This is the place to go for the best service and pizza in town. Our first time in and can’t wIt to go back to try other menu options. We ordered the meat lover’s pizza and a Caesar salad. Moe greeted us upon arrival and took our order with a friendly response to our questions concerning serving sizes and options. The salad came out quickly complete with delicious Caesar dressing and loads of croutons on top. It was an instant winner ! Then the pizza came as we almost finished our salad. It was loaded with great tasting meats and cheese on a hand made crust. It was delicious and very filling, split three ways we had half left to take home. Not that skimpy pizza with the thin cardboard crust ! Moe and his brother Abe are in it for the long run, trying their best to earn your business in the competitive pizza market. They certainly knocked a home run with us today. We will be returning often to try everything on the menu along with our friends...
