My family (7people) went this past Sunday . All on one order. The aguas frescas are great , the carne asada tacos were good but we were missing 2 carnitas tacos frm our order. When I went to the young man making the tacos and serving, he said he made them and served them. No one in our party had any carnitas tacos. He told me to go check , so I went back to ask my family again. None of them had them. So I went back to the young man to tell him I confirmed and he said he made them and that he made them in the order they were on the receipt. So I never got to try the dang tacos. We were shorted two, and I was made to feel like some crazy taco Karen. I've had good experiences at the Escondido location but this Vista location lacked customer service. There should be a better way of tracking and serving large orders instead of handing em out as they make them, they probably handed them to the wrong person , who knows. Too many people standing around at the counters grabbing the orders as...
Read moreThe atmosphere is great! Food is not so great. Sometimes they have the food sitting for hrs. And it's not even covered. The asada meat was dry and bland. The salsa was great, though. But not the best.
Efficiency was lacking. When I order a meal, I expect to tell them what I want and pay for it. Here, you pay and then tell a cook what you want specifically. Sounds like someone's lazy to program his point of sake system. Bro, it's 2024. Supposed to be more efficient not less.
I grabbed a coke out of the middle back of the fridge, wasn't even cold. Tasted warm. Not worth the money I paid.
The orchata was watery and pasty. It tasted like cheap powder with water.
Summary, don't go here. As someone who was raised in tri city. There are much better options for less and more bang for your buck. For example, LA Gordita across the street. Their horchata tastes way...

I came here on Friday thinking it would be a quick taco shop, but raised this was more of a sit down eatery. So we left.
But this time, we were ready.
I like the set up and I love that there is outside seating. Kind of reminds me of TJ Tacos, but pretty.
We ordered a mango agua fresca, carnitas mulita, and 2 adobada tacos.
Holy cow! The food was fire!!
Got a little plate of roasted peppers, sliced radishes, and cooked onions. That alone could be a meal - it was so good.
Got a little container of salsa but all the food we ate didn't need any salsa. Just took a bite of the food followed up with a bite of the pepper, and it was magical!
The cold, tasy agua fresca hit the nail on the head, diminishing the heat from the pepper.
I was very happy we decided to come here and...
