I’ve been going to this smoke shop for a good year now, it’s perfect location from my place and has a great selection. Unfortunately, I have made the decision to cut ties. Why? The guy behind the counter. When I first met him I thought it was more of a cultural difference on the way he pursued me but it was clear yesterday that no, he’s just a creep. He would regularly tell me I needed a man to take care of me (which I do not agree with but ok) even offering to find me one so I didnt have to work as much. He would call me his friend and tell me he loved me. It was off putting, but I pushed through. He tried to make a lot of small talk and it was always uncanny every time I came in (my favorite was when he rambled about the Turkish mafia for whatever reason). He was talkative with woman I brought in but I did start noticing a common theme, if I brought a man in he wouldn’t say a word, or just generally felt uncomfortable. Which was out of character. After picking up the signals he was showing me and the weirdness being too much I started buying in bulk so I wouldn’t have to go as often. Yesterday I went in to get a menthol vape, (he didnt know the difference between mint and menthol so that’s cool) where he started playing his game. Saying he loved me, wanted to hold me, etc, etc. He then proceeded to do what I was dreading, asked me out. I am in my early 20’s, he’s gotta be in his late 40’s. I said no, and then had to explain to him why I said no. It was… so off putting and unprofessional. I wanted to die inside and it did not digest well on my brain for hours after. I am glad there is cameras in there. After reading other reviews I’m glad I’m not alone. Only way I’ll go back is if they fire him (which personally, I think he’s a liability waiting to happen). I do not feel comfortable being around him. It’s a bummer because it’s a nice shop but I just cannot support this mans paycheck any longer. I pray for the females that come across his path in the future. The cringe I had to endure...

This place has everything a smoke shop should, huge selection of everything smoke related along with big selection of ecigs, flower, vape pens, kratom, edibles and a nice selection of water pipes + rigs etc.

Apart from the great selection of gear this place is pricing everything as if from a different planet! There is a reason why they don't want you using your phone in store - quick Google check of any item they're selling clearly shows how badly this store is ripping off it's loyal customers.

As an example, there is a particular item I buy - i purchase this same item multiple times during the week from random locations all around Illinois, it's priced between $19.99 - $29.99 but at Monstor Smoke they want $49.99!!!! A quick look at similar products and it's the same scam - go over a town or two and save yourself a ton of money.

I'm not too familiar with the town this shop is located in but it would lead me to believe crime is rampant in the area as everything and I mean everything in this store is locked away behind glass. If I want to check the ingredients of an edible I can't. Floor to ceiling displays that are all locked, you literally can not check any item out because its behind glass and I mean everything is behind this display glass - I've never seen a smoke shop like this in my 40 years , I've traveled around the world and I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years ... Thought I've seen it all until this gem. Stay away. Two stars for selection , everything else about this...

I have been doing research so I have come in asking questions and have spoken to a certain gentleman twice. First time in, he didn’t know his inventory where he could have sold a device to me but the one in the shelf didn’t have a battery charger adapter and he couldn’t find one in the one place he looked (2 inches in front of him). I didn’t know that until the next time I came in asking a different younger gentleman who took time to educate me on some products I had been looking into. Came in today, wanted something simple, knew where it might be but noticed something’s moved around so I asked if that was the only place things like that were. This FN creature said, Why are you asking, you are not going to buy. You come in before, you don’t buy. The owners see on the camera you don’t buy, why you come in. Rather than make a scene, holding back all my “ghetto” because I can get dark, I asked if he was fn serious, turned and walked out.

Wise Guys has better customer service by far from the all the people...
