Joe's Corner Store — Local services in Walla Walla

I live across the street and I used to shop here all the time. Me and my wife have had nothing but issues with one of the night employees. She is terrified of going there by herself anymore after an incident with him when he told her she couldn't leave the store until she cried like a baby for him and she ended up not paying for our stuff and ran out. I went in the next day and spoke with the owner, or who I thought was the owner, and still nothing happened to the employee Then just recently we had decided to stop in to grab a soda quick and spent $7.50 around 7 pm. A few hours later I check my debit card transactions and there was 3 purchases from the store. One from 7 pm, and 2 more for an hour later made at the exact same time, one for $2.99 and one for $5.51. I'm going back into the store tommorow to have some strong words with the owner and to get my money back and hopefully get this creepy guy fired once and for all. And if not press charges for him making unauthorized charges on...

Its a nice store, but the cashier don't speak or understand English at all. Its very frustrating. And then not mention how he also is running the motel next door inside the store as well. I personally believe that they shouldn't have the motels guests coming in the store to check into their rooms or what not. Plus isn't it against the law for 1 business under name to be ran in another business with a completely different name then the other? I noticed how even the guests for the motel get frustrated with the fact that its hard to communicate with this guy at the store. They really shouldn't have someone that can't speak English run a place of business. Hopefully they get someone in there that does. He don't seem much about what he's doing either. I don't recommend going to this place unless u have the tolerance to handle this...

I love Joes Corner but one of the cashiers there is a slime ball .. I went into the store on 3/21 and the new guy was really flirty and would hand me my card and then proceed to take it back while my other half was right there, then 3/22 my mother went into the store and he began asking her very personal questions and would ask her to go out and literally wouldn't take no for an answer, my mom got home and told me what happen and she was literally shaking because he frightened her. He needs training or something on how to talk to a customer.. Other then that employee every one else is awesome!!!!
