Chiquillas Mexican House — Restaurant in Walla Walla

First and foremost I want to express how friendly the wait staff were and that the women's bathroom was clean and well stocked. The bad part was the hair we found in 3 different plates. I have tried many Mexican restaurants before and never have I had lima beans,green peas, green beans, carrots or corn in my enchiladas. The salsas were fantastic. We did have to ask for refills on soda and tea. One of the girls brought a pitcher of water which was very well received as my niece had come from Idaho to play a softball tournament. We are from the Tri-Cities and thought this would be a great restaurant to take family to after seeing your outstanding reviews. My oldest daughter had the 3 enchiladas that was supposed to have red sauce on them.. they came out with green sauce they did replace the enchiladas. She also found a hair in her red sauce. So maybe it was just the sauce? The hair I found was in my enchiladas and found down my throat. I almost lost my food all over the table. . I know we all have off days..but.. cleanliness is so important. Maybe the men in the back should be wearing hair nets? I have since lost my food in the nearest garbage. I am very Thankful for the huge jar of candies. They have helped get me back to...

We have been here 2 times previously because we love the food. If we don't get our food within 30 minutes after ordering the waitress comes and lets us know what's going on.  Last night we decided to try it a 3rd time. Unfortunately we sat for 1 hour 20 minutes with not so much as an explanation about our order.  The waitress basically ignored us except for getting us more salsa. We finally told the waitress (when we actually saw her again) that we couldn't wait any longer and had to leave so without a care in the world she said she was sorry it was taking so long and that we didn't have to pay for our drinks. Customers who came after us got their food. There was another table where there were 3 people and 2 plates came 10 minutes apart but the third person on that table was still waiting to eat when we left. People go to dinner together to eat at the same time not at different times. I would say this restaurant lost some good customers. If i could I would give 0 star rating. It will be a long time before I want to give it...

Food was good! We had a fairly large group but one of our people didn't get their food. The waitress didn't even notice it!!!! It was not busy and we were all in one section. When we brought it to her attention she said, "there was a problem in the kitchen" 😒 By the time her plate did arrive, everyone else was finished eating AND the waitress brought the wrong meal. Needless to say, the person was not going to pay. The owner completely understood, apologized and told her the meal was on the house. Well, as we were checking out, the waitress was at the station to take everyone's money. She insisted that the order be paid and someone else in our group ended up paying it in cash. (I'm guessing the manager/owner was not able to delete the transaction yet because the register was not open.)

Now, I wasn't looking closely because I was signing my receipt but I watched her put money in her pocket.
