So I was looking to save some money and purchased a used upright freezer they had in stock. It looked to be in good shape and was cold in store. Took it home and loaded it up with the items I had from my chest style and was amazed at how much more room it had. Off to Sams club to get great deals now that I have a way to store everything. A few weeks into it however the unit dumped water all over my floor and stopped cooling. I called the store and they said no problem you are still within warranty period bring it in for repair. So I called a few friends to borrow freezer space and load up this giant freezer to transport it from Milledgeville to WR. They completed the repair in a day or two , a faulty drain line, and Had me return to pick it up. Got it home and it worked great for another week or two. Then it messes up again dumped water while I was out of town working only for me to return home to find all my food was spoiled and ruined. I did not bother reaching back out to AM for repair again because the money I would have saved with their product ended up costing me hundreds of dollars in food and more in transport for the repair. Now I am not saying that appliances don’t break or malfunction or we would not have repair shops. However if a customer buys a product and it fails due to a faulty part more than once you can best believe they will find a new product and supply. My take is you better buy new and if you do buy used, buy it from someone else. Appliance Magic is not a trusted seller...
Read moreThe service technicians were professional except they adjusted the internal top part of the electrolux machine to put the top panel back on. This caused a misalignment for the front door not sealing correctly causing water to still leak from the bottom of the door. The technician adjusted the boot seal which was replaced after a function check, however, they did not perform another function check to ensure water does not come out after the adjustment. I placed a paper towel on the floor beneath the washer and after 3 days, it was completely soaked. Appliance Magic did Not fix the problem only slowed the leak slightly. They had no problem taking my money for a job not complete. I am hopeful they do better work elsewhere, however, if I do not get a responses for them to complete the job, this review will stand without adjustment. They will also not be referred to my family and friends and their competitors will get future jobs. Any business owner should always look at customer satisfaction for future business. $200s now could multiply exponentially with word of mouth, aka "free advertising". If you choose to hire Appliance Magic, be sure the technicians complete the job by doing your own research before they show up to ensure they do not either do a sub-par job or do not even fix the issue. You get what you pay for. But I thought being charged 25% of the cost of an Appliance to fix a leak is pretty steep. Beware and...
Read moreSecond time I have used Appliance Magic and both times have been very positive. A couple of months ago, I had refrigerator problems. I had an LG fridge and it stopped working. Appliance Magic told me I should go ahead and buy a new fridge because it would be almost as expensive to get the new part and have it installed as it would to buy another fridge. I have since discovered a lot of people have had the same issue with LG fridges. I don’t recommend them as my fridge was only five years old. Sunday when I was about to put some clothes in my dryer, I noticed a strong musty smell. i also had noticed that the dryer was taking longer to dry. I called Appliance Magic on Monday and they came within a few hours. They cleaned out my dryer vent and line and now the smell is completely gone and it’s taking a lot less time to dry the loads of clothes! Josh was the technician yesterday, and he was friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. These people are wonderful. They are prompt and honest and do a great job. I am so thankful I found them. Oh, and one more thing. My laundry detergent had leaked behind the washer/dryer. I hadn’t cleaned it because it’s really hard to get behind those appliances. Josh asked for some rags and cleaner and said he’d clean all that up for me. He actually clean the entire area behind the appliances!!!! Who does things like that anymore? Josh does! I am very impressed with...
