Dave's Market — Local services in Warren

Very sad that an employee made a mistake and forgot to deduct 15.50 bottle return from our bill as she requested at the beginning of the transaction. We realized when we were home putting groceries away. We call and inform the help desk of the situation who confirms with the cashier that we checked out with that indeed she forgot it. The help desk person then comes back on the phone to tell me that the cashier has the bottle return slip and to come get our money. I state I am cooking supper and will have to come get our money after. She states that i need to come by 8pm when they close. I send my guy to the store to get our bottle return money, only to have my guy return home with no bottle return stating they would not release the 15.50 bottle return money without a recipt....the recipt had nothing to do with the bottle return.....wasted over an hour back n forth 3 trips.....WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY IN THIS STORE.....BECAUSE OF POOR...

I had a different opinion before but I think since the cost of living and groceries have gone up so high and no I receive no help for government assistance I am on a fixed budget and try too get help but they make it so hard and I am disabled and so I know I could get help but they give you such a hard time so when I can find a good market that is affordable and friendly most of the time sometimes you get some sarcastic employees they bring their bad day too work with them and take it out on their customers and one other thing they have no good deals and a very small selection of freezer goods so couple of improvements including cleaning a lil more it’s not the cleanest store I really like the value center on 10 n Hoover and on Harper n 16 mile very clean nice if they could make the Ryan store look like those Stores it would make it more pleasing too the eye and enjoy the saving’s thank you...

Too often I find out of date foods that are not marked as such, even though they are supposed to have a sign stating that. Now I see the workers apparently don't know how to wear a mask covering properly as they wear it under their nose...including the deli ladies! The local school is closed because of positive test results for Covid19 and they can't wear a face mask properly? I have also seen an employee pick up a plastic bag in the produce depth that had fallen on the floor and put it back around the roll. REALLY She didn't like that I had seen her and gave me a dirty look when I said that was wrong and shook my head. I wish there was another grocery store close, but I'm not going back and will encourage my neighbors to also go elsewhere as my health is more important . I've been told there have been complaints filed to the State and I hope...
