Echo Lanes — Local services in Warren

Update 5/2025- planned to have a family bowling evening. Called ahead a couple hours prior to coming out because sometimes businesses do not keep their hours as listed. The staff member who answered verified that they were open to the public and had open lanes until 9pm as listed. The sign posted on the doors also states they are open until 9pm. We arrived at 7:52. We attempted to open the door at 7:55. The doors were locked. We could clearly see multiple groups of people inside bowling. Three lanes were being used. We called thinking maybe they had to step away or did it by mistake. This was not the case. When asked why their doors were locked despite having told us they were open for sales until 9pm, they stated “yep we kinda just sold our last tickets.” We replied asking about the 9pm closing time we were previously assured of. They replied “Well we closed for today.Thanks.” And the call was ended. No explanation. No apology for lying to us two hours prior. So our kids were extremely disappointed. We own our own construction contracting business, and our 3 kids also do year round soccer along with other sports for the older ones so we do not get a whole lot of free time to spend an evening doing stuff like this together. They ruined our evening and made our younger ones cry. Probably so some jerk could go home an hour or two early. I hope that was worthwhile. And just in case they are going to reply calling me a liar, I took a video to prove the situation and the time. And took ss of the call logs.

First off if I could give zero stars I would but first time going lived in Howland 2 1/2 years normally go to Cartland lanes.

So we come in we are the only ones there we pay for 1 hour that normally gets us two games. we get bumper lanes for my kid and there cousins the set us up on two lanes that where broken so they more us to another lane and we re enter names and start bowling only in the first frame it brakes again and we have to call out for help because the help button on the control panel is broken. He finally comes and fixed it and we play. We are in the second game and we knew our time was running close so we are bowling fast as we can get to the fifth frame and bam they turn off our lanes. So me and my brother Inlaw go up there and ask if we can get some more time to finish game (mind you the lanes are empty no one waiting) they guy says to us super rude and no customer service say you have used all your time. I told him that the lanes were broken multiple times, and that we had to switch lanes you could at least let us finish our game. He said no because he had no customer service I wasn’t going to offer more money for the Lane so we just walked out.

If the owner reads this the time was 1:30pm to 4pm I would’ve gladly paid for another hour of bowling, but the customer service on that one guy was awful, and he almost wanted to fight. I thought I would be the bigger man and walk out with my kids and...

My family and I decided to spend the afternoon celebrating my Dad's birthday this past Sunday by all of us meeting up at Echo Lanes. I had called a few hours prior to going, to confirm with Diane that a couple lanes would be available as we'd be a largergroup attending...11 of us at 3pm. Diane was very sweet over the phone and assured me that we would be good to go. Upon arriving, Diane knew exactly who we were, recalled the plans, wished my father a very Happy Birthday and quickly helped all of us get situated while my husband paid for two hours and all the shoe rentals... She was great and efficient! My father decided to add another hour on top of the two and after we finished our family time and while we were cleaning up after ourselves, they began closing. Diane, Chuck and Tony all stayed for the afternoon so that my family could enjoy our afternoon, despite the fact that they were able to close early and spend time with their own families. How incredibly nice of them! I will not forget their kindness and for contributing to our family's time well spent together!
