What a neat place! This was my first visit here and I enjoyed the shopping experience. Next time I’d love to come to enjoy the wine bar which also serves whiskey. They have a cool speakeasy in the back as well. Teri, one of the owners, visited with us and was so welcoming and shared details of how Magnolia Mercantile came to be- all great stories and interesting merchandise and wares from many skilled artists and craftsman. Definitely don’t want to miss this place if you are passing through or close to Warrensburg! I shared a few of the fun things you can find there and a beautiful handcrafted soap dish that I purchased for my home.

This is a wonderful, unique shopping experience. There are individual sections for different local artisans and Craftsmen. Some of these are local to this area and some spread across to Kansas City and other small towns of Missouri. Because this is local artisans, the prices can be somewhat high, but you can still find relatively cheap items ranging from $5 and above. There's also no denying the draw of the bar as if it was going in with their whiskey selection and other items to choose from. I also loved the speakeasy area in the back with the big comfy chairs. It just made for a nice fun atmosphere to hang out for a while.

I am in love with my purchase and my experience today for the first time at Magnolia Mercantile. The prices for the local artisanal made projects are very reasonable and the atmosphere and customer service was excellent! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend. You can't find dry local wine very often around here and they have it! Everyone needs some of these local fresh lavender bundles! What's not to love about this place!?

A True Hidden Gem in Warrensburg!

Magnolia Mercantile is hands down one of my favorite places in town — it’s so much more than just a shop! The historic building alone is worth a visit, with its beautifully preserved 1800s charm and cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Every corner of the store is thoughtfully curated with unique home décor, local artisan goods, and one-of-a-kind finds you won’t see anywhere else. I always leave with something special — even when I didn’t plan on buying anything!

What makes Magnolia Mercantile truly stand out is the experience: there’s an adult soda fountain, a wine and whiskey bar, and they even host fun community events and live music in the Magnolia Room. It’s the perfect place to relax, shop, and connect with friends or family.

The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home every time you walk in. It’s clear they care deeply about creating a place the whole community can enjoy.

If you’re in Warrensburg (or anywhere nearby!), do yourself a favor and stop by Magnolia Mercantile. You’ll fall in love with it just like I did. Five stars...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Local Treasure with World-Class Taste Teri’s shop is everything you didn’t know you needed — a beautifully curated wine, beer, and mercantile store that feels like a warm hug the second you walk in. The selection is incredible, ranging from unique, small-batch wines and craft beers to thoughtfully chosen local goods and gifts. Teri has a true gift for pairing people with the perfect bottle, and her passion for quality and community shines through in every inch of the store. Whether you’re stocking up for a dinner party, grabbing a host gift, or just treating yourself, this place hits all the right notes. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to linger, sip, and come back again and again. We love Teri, and her staff...
