Ten years from now I am going to look back at these photos so thankful that I took them at the exact time that I did. I am so glad Angelica captured me at midlife— a time where insecurities of sharing are at an all time high and longing for the face and body I had from youth. Mid life is hard :/

I had an incredible experience with Angelica, Nicole and Bailee. (Glam squad) From the moment I walked into the consultation, Angelica took the time to get to know me and understand the vibe I wanted for my session. Y’all she is so chill. You will feel so comfortable about the process! Don’t forgot to wear underwear to the consultation because you get to try on clothes from the closet!😆

On the day of the shoot, I felt a little nervous because I am used to seeing myself in photos the way I do my hair and makeup. Nicole did an amazing job with my hair and makeup in a dedicated room, making me feel like a true model. She listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. And she slayed the hair mid photo shoot when I went with an updo to showcase a gown.

Angelica and Bailey helped me choose between dresses, set up the studio with the best backgrounds, and the whole experience felt like hanging out with girlfriends, chatting and laughing. I brought some pose ideas, and Angelica went above and beyond by trying them herself to stage me perfectly. She even took the time to teach me how to pose before we started, which made me feel confident and prepared.

The entire day was an absolute blast, and I truly felt like a queen! It went by way too fast, and I’d jump at the chance to do it again. This mid life grandma felt feeling empowered and I can’t wait for my grandpa to see these someday knowing their “Glammie” was an absolute ICON back in her day! I can’t recommend Portrait Artist enough!

Angelica was so amazing. She’s very professional during the whole process, but extremely personable. She helped me decide what would be best to wear for the weather/area and helped with guiding me on outfits for my family. She found a beautiful area to take the photos in and we even went beforehand to decide on the best spots that would work for what I was looking for and for my family. She worked really well with my kids who are not good at smiling nicely or even all looking at the camera. I have four kids so this was no easy task. But in the end she captured my family beautifully. I love her editing style. She has amazing skill with her programs and everything is seamless. From head swapping to adding in flowers etc. You couldn’t tell that my kids weren’t all looking at the same time. Our photos were stunning. And she only uses the best quality products for her photos. So you know you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. If you want an amazingly talented photographer who will take your breath away, who’s also friendly and genuinely cares about you loving your photos, then I recommend her! In November I reached out to The Portrait Artist, Angelica wanting to be part of her couples shoot, in December 2024, my husband and I joined her and her staff in studio. I can honestly say I have never once felt as beautiful and as empowered as a woman as I did from the moment I walked into the studio. Angelica and her team are beyond incredible and inspiring. I wanted a very specific kind of photo and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Today my husband and I went back to the studio to pick up our images and they are even more incredible than the previews! Angelica is more than an artist, she builds you up, gives you confidence and makes you feel like family! I can never thank her and her amazing team for taking my very nervous self and turning me in to a literal queen!
