Local game shop. I come for paints and to eyeball what's on the release calendar. When the owner is there, the service is very good, staff is attentive. When staff is solo, service can be slightly spotty. It's a bit awkward when you stop in and the employee is eating, you feel like you're interrupting, even though you're there to give them business. That being said, my hobby questions have been answered well when asked, they usually have what I need in stock, and the prices are in line with other brick and mortar hobby locations. I've not played any games there, but they have offered the gaming tables if they don't have an event running. For me, the balance of good things do indeed outweigh any kind of oddness.
