I shop Aldis not only for work but for home. I have to say that the Aldis in Warrenton, Mo near my home is a disappointment. Not because of product which is great but the service from employees is poor. I was there at 10ish in the morning, no one was on the floor working. We were 10 deep waiting in line to check out. I was number 4.. One employee came out of office looked at us all and walk the other direction The next employee came out and started checking us. When it was my turn, I asked where is your help? She mattered of fact said. Doing their job!!! You could see that there were bodies in the office moving around but no one came out and opened another lane. When I walked out, there were at least 8 more people waiting to check out! With that being said. For work I shop at the O'Fallon,Missouri store. A very busy store especially in the morning when I'm there.. i have always been taken care of very quickly and there are always employees on the floor and checking with a very pleasant attitude. 5 stars for O'Fallon 2 stars...

The help is nice and attentive. Always some type of neat deals going on. And they donate their expiring food to a local pantry! Never seen Schnucks, Deirburgs or Shop n Save do that. All that, and a dozen eggs for under a buck. (Last time in, they were .45 cents) This store actually cares about maintenance. When someone hit and broke a concrete stop near the doors, it was replaced within days. The hotel I work at wont even replace a light bulb after over a month! There are only 4 options for groceries out here, and Aldi's is my #1! (Mosers is #2, and I won't step foot in #3 or #4, Kroger...
Read moreI shop at the Warrenton Aldi's. Usually the customer service is excellent. Today the young girl that checked me out was rude. I have joint pain and I am limited in movement. I left two heavy items in my cart, instead of lifting them onto the conveyor belt. She told me to put them on the belt. I explained that it was difficult for me to lift. She got angry and scanned the items from my cart. After scanning she put them under the cart, after I asked her to put them on the packing counter. I explained to her that I would not be able to lift them out from under, and she ignored me. She turned to the next customer and ignored me. The man behind me asked her if she was doing ok.. Normally I have had excellent service...
