Absolute clown show. I "fired" Walgreens 15 years ago because they allow computers to over ride common sense, and nothing has changed- if anything, gotten worse. Our scripts were transferred to Wal Greens from Legacy....where everything was ready for pick up on the same day, never had to make multiple trips. For whatever reason, one of my husband's scripts fell off auto refill. They just cant go into the computer and change the refill date so everything gets refilled at once for the next month. To make matters worse, It took 3 visits to receive the 1 prescription that fell off track with no explantion other than sometimes the fill center will "hold prescriptions back". It was supposed to be filled on Oct 7 (per the tech i spoke to in Sept about getting everything back on the same fill date), I went in on Thu the 9th and was told it'd be there on Fri the 10th. Went in on Sun the 12th, they said it'd be there on Mon the 13th. Went in today, the tech didnt pull it from the bins behind the register, she went around back to the pharmacist area. I dont know if they quickly filled it, but it was in the paper bag (filled in store), not the plastic as if it came from their central fill center. The refill was dated for the 9th, and here we are today, the 16th. Do you want to take the chance of this same senerio with your insulin, heart meds or other...
Read moreI’d rate this store 0 if that option was available. I’ve come in and/or called in numerous times for my elderly friend who just had her knee replaced. Today’s example of the lousy customer service: I called this morning to see if her pain meds script was ready, it was not and they didn’t know when “because they can’t see what’s in the Que”. They thought it would be ready sometime this afternoon. I called again at 1:14 pm and they said the prescription was ready I told them I was leaving then and on my way to pick it up. I arrived at the pharmacy window at 1:31 PM, The technician finished waiting on the lady in front of me and then told me they were leaving for lunch. I advised I just needed to pick up a script and she said you’ll have to come back at 2 o’clock. The lady in front of me turned to me and said they are ridiculous! My first question would be when I told him I was on my way why didn’t they let me know they were leaving for lunch at two, I would’ve waited to make the trip here. They are continually rude and I’ve been to a lot of Walmart pharmacies but never have I experienced the continual rude behavior as they display at this location. If my friend could switch to a different pharmacy company she would but her plan this year forced her to use Walgreens, end of year she is definitely...
Read moreI was told by someone in the pharmacy that I can get my medicine transferred from another pharmacy to this one today. Im out of my medicine and im sick bc of it.I sat on hold for 20 minutes waiting to get this taken care of only to be hung up on. I called back and went through every detail of all 5 prescriptions and at the last minute they said it would be 24-48 hours. Why did they take up almost an hour of my precious time. If they weren't going to get it done today. I have never seen a pharmacy that refused to call another pharmacy to transfer prescriptions. There was a lack of communication. I spoke with 3 different people who gave me 3 different answers. It's probably best to do away with the DEI hiring and hire professional employees who can communicate properly. I am now stuck with this place bc you're not allowed to just bounce around prescriptions to and from pharmacy to pharmacy. I should have known not to use Walgreens period. I just moved to this area and thought it's close to my house. I continue to get even sicker as time goes on. What happened to a pharmacy being a pharmacy that cares for each and every person. Where's the compassion and concern these days? Walgreens everywhere has literally gone down hill. I would steer clear of this...
