You never really go to a bar for food and have high expectations so this review wasn't one I was expecting to give but... The Hideout is an awesome hidden gem! As someone who doesn't smoke I've held off going to this place because I'm not a fan of smoke while eating. If someone was smoking inside, I wouldn't have known as they have 3 air filters inside plus a back patio. Walking inside, you got a nice small-town vibe. Both staff and customers greeting you. Before I get to the service and food, I have to give an honorable mention to their cups! I absolutely can not stand when a restaurant or bar for that matter gives you a tiny cup so that everytime you see your server you're asking for a refill, which would have been a lot because Michelle constantly checked in on us and was an all around Rockstar. Again, I wasn't expecting much, but man is this the spot to go to if you are wanting all around good bar food. They hand batter their pickle chips made from locally sourced pickles as well as their chicken strips. The burger was juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings and crispy bacon and FINALLY a place that doesn't serve under cooked tots. Definitely my new go to spot if I want good food with even...

My grandmother used to own a bar at this location back in the early 90s, and I recently had the chance to visit the same spot. While the layout of the bar has changed quite a bit over the years, the bones of the building are still the same. Walking in, I immediately felt a sense of nostalgia and belonging that was truly special. šŸ•°ļøšŸšļø

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which only added to the overall positive vibe of the place. And let's not forget about the drinks - they were cheap and delicious! It was the perfect environment for a fun night out with friends or a relaxing evening alone. šŸ»

Overall, I highly recommend checking out this bar for a great time and a sense of nostalgia. Whether you have personal connections to the location like I did or are just looking for a friendly and affordable spot to grab a drink, this place is definitely worth a...

June 19, 2023. I'm posting the most updated specials as of today, as opposed to other reviews and their Facebook page that probably needs to be deleted, Haha.

My husband, oldest son, and I will soon be opening a specialty Furniture store right down the street. "Scott's Amish Log, Rustic Furniture and Taxidermy Mounts".

While working very hard these last 4 months to move into our new home, learning our new city, meeting our new neighbors and especially looking for lunch options other than the typical fast food establishments this great city has to offer, we stumbled across this little gem right down the street.

If/when you may be traveling east or west on Highway 70 near the Warrenton exit Hiway 47 and get hungry, it would be worth your while to take that exit. Go to the first stop light and make a right. It's on the right,...

My husband and I had dinner at The Hide Out tonight, and it did not disappoint! I went with the smoked pork chop, mac and cheese, corn, and a side of applesauce. The pork chop was thick, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese was rich and flavorful, and the applesauce paired perfectly. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tots—cooked just right and served with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and what tasted like house-made pickles (possibly even pickled locally). He loved it, but I think he had a little food envy over my pork chop, so I shared a bite. We’d both happily order our meals again. The food was fantastic, the service was spot-on, and we left full and happy. Heads-up: This is a smoking-allowed establishment.

Heard this place had good food so we decided to try it. It was an hour wait and almost $50 for two burgers and a cheese pizza. The ā€œonion ringsā€ were onion straws....didn’t even get the fries I ordered. The burgers are not fresh or made there, they are just frozen patties which weren’t cooked completely (red and cold in the middle) and I couldn’t even eat it because I’m pregnant and have to have meat cooked well done. The cheese pizza ($12!) was also just a frozen pizza and my 8 year old hated it, so I had to come home and cook anyways. The waitress and cook were arguing nonstop and it was a terrible experience. Will NEVER return. Complete waste of time and money.
