Sam's Food Stores — Local services in Warwick

Main Ave, Warwick, RI I recently had a frustrating experience at a new business on Main Avenue in Warwick, which is reportedly under new management. I attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes using my card, but the transaction wouldn't go through due to a technical issue with the magnetic strip. I offered to have the clerk manually enter the card information and provide identification, but surprisingly, they refused. Given my loyalty to the store, spending over $400 on cigarettes and around $150 on food each month, I was disappointed by the lack of accommodation. To add insult to injury, I had recently posted a free ad for the business in the local paper, and the employee's response seemed almost amused by my frustration. I will not be returning...

Over charge for stuff with the price on the package, then to top it off give guy a $20 for $1.75 that should've been $.99, gets the change out of the register, decides he wants a buck for himself apparently, takes a buck back, and hands me $17.25 which I didn't realize is what he did till I got home. So evidently the "scuzzball" and "they'll try to scam you" comments about them from the people above...

I wish they had a no star option. I've been disrespected twice by two different employees Both refused to let me pick a product and flipped out .one even banned me from here Never going to ANY Sam's again Over priced dirty...
