Ace Hardware — Local services in Washington Township

If I could give no stars I would. I went there with my nephew and his father wearing my work clothes and was Browsing before I grabbed paint from these guys and they made it very obvious that they were profiling us as we were doing so They came up to us multiple times and asked us if we needed help and to inform us that the shop closes soon which wasn't true we had an hour and 10 minutes When My friend and I both expressed that we are feeling Uncomfortable they went ahead and told us that we were throwing red flags for browsing the store. I understand you have to do your job and work on lost prevention, but when we both expressed Our concern they went ahead and continue to profile even harder. Not if they care but was planning on buying all my PVC there to build my pond and my buddy grabbed paint PN other hand tools that they only sell. So maybe next time they can get off their high horses and be a little less aggressive with it. Maybe next time I'll ask the old geezer to hold my hand when I come in so I don't go all crazy stealing with...

Ace certainly is the place!! It was so busy when i was there that upon Walking In One customer exclaimed what are they giving away for free in here. When I first called it to ask if they made car keys I was as for the specific make model and year of the car however upon arriving they did not need to know the make model and year of the car as I handed them the key fob and empty key and he made it so maybe they only do certain years of car keys the service was excellent and certainly made me chuckle from the tone of the guy on the phone as to whether or not he actually could do the key to the awkwardness of the guy not sure that it would fit into his machine! And maybe it is a little bit of that personality and character of getting the job done regardless of certainty of your ability to complete it is why I will go to these smaller places instead of waiting in line...
