Philly Grill & Pizza — Restaurant in Washington Township

Someone from there dropped off a menu in my office, when I saw the lunch specials I thought it simply impossible: $12 for a cheesesteak, fries, and a soda. Figured I'd have to try it, typically in the area, a good cheesesteak can be $15+ just on its own. I went and picked up my lunch for my coworker and I (they got the Caesar wrap, which they said was really good, btw), the guy working there was very friendly and asked me to keep ordering from there and to leave a review, which is great, I love seeing people actively want to try and grow their business. I was honestly expecting there to be a reason why I only paid $12, maybe it would be a small sandwich, or just not great quality in general. I got back to my office and, to my surprise, I had a full size cheesesteak (a little bigger than the large Wawa sandwich size), fries, and a soda. Now you'd expect the food to be mediocre at best, but I was surprised yet again. The cheesesteak was great, fresh bread, perfect amount of meat, and a good ratio of cheese. The fries hit too, they were kinda like McDonalds fries if they were thicker, which I loved. For the price, I don't think you can beat that. I placed an order tonight 12/28 and my total came to $38.10 as told by the person over the phone. I noticed a charge on my bank for $45.72 from Philly Grill so i called the store back. I called back and explained that I seen this charge and they kept saying that it was only $38.10 that it could be pending for us to just call our bank. Upon receiving my delivery on the receipt I noticed there’s tip options on the bottom and what do you know.. $45.72 is the tip for 20% and that is what they charged me. Real shady work guys. as if we weren’t already going to tip MORE than that with cash. Won’t be ordering...

The pizza is generally great, but the other food... Not so much. I got the Turkey BLT wrap and my partner got the chicken ceasar wrap . Both were very subpar. The turkey in the BLT wrap was just bland and rubbery lunch meat turkey. It is not freshly sliced turkey. There was very little bacon and the bacon was only on half of it. There was lots of generic shredded lettuce though and deli cheese. The spinach wrap itself was also oddly firm. The chicken caesar wrap only had lettuce on one half of it and had sauce everywhere. I probably won't be ordering from here again...
