City Mission — Local services in Washington

I spent 6 months there and gave the mission everything they asked for and more i worked lights and sound, maintenance and also in the kitchen plus any extra thing that needed to be done around my home until today. Today i got kicked out for two very stupid reasons one was that i had essential oils lavender and they thought it was ether and the other was is that i was told that we were allowed to have vitamin and i had 5 bottles of them and they all were. Also the nurse had given me cold medicine and i also had that, so they thought i was somehow abusing all this to get high or something, they wouldn't even explain it to me nor they wouldn't listen to me in any way shape or form. Also when i was packing my stuff to leave the head of the maintenance crew yelled at me to grow up and stop being a punk and told me im worthless. Today they also kicked out a veteran i knew because they thought he was selling drugs on campus and he told them to track him on the camera and also to call his drug store to even see if he had been give it and they refused because they knew that they would of been wronged. I have a feeling that this review will be removed due to the fact that they will all say that this is a lie. Gotta love a place that says that they are all about christianity and forgiving but when you ask to know the truth and they spit...

I was there 5 times since 2021 never did anything to get me kicked out just left on my own terms. The time before the last time i was there i left because they were forcing me to work when i was disabled and they were trying to charge me over $400 out of my ssi payment and last time i was struggling with addiction so i went to the hospital signed myself out two days later and they refused to allow me into their program and i was 3 days clean and i was honest about it said my urine would be dirty still and they turned their back on me specifically dave, he and the guy with the spiked hair called me a liar and refused to let me into the program. They call themselves christians but dont carry themselves as christians. God accepted all people and when mary fell astray and started drinking again jesus accepted her back with open arms. But now im 3 weeks clean off disabillity and have two jobs ones at kfc on murtland and ones on main st at the union grill and my bosses emily and jeff will speak highly of me and im highly motivated to change my life around, stay clean, and keep my relationship strong with god. Im not saying the city mission is bad but theres people who work there that are wolves in...

Recent a resident July 2024- Oct. 7, 2025... My HC, Jared was awesome, we met 1-1 meetings, going over Bible/purpose of being on Earth.. Mission got me back in church, 3 days a week..... Wifi issue occured , back in late March 2025.. A former resident in Gateway dorm hacked , there pass word ... It went viral, all men using wifi, including me... It went on til late Sept. 2025.... Resident said it was offline, I mention it to staff member, didn't listen to me... I was asked to leave property, Oct 7, 2025... Because I was using wifi, and reviewed my activity, , got called in Staff office, told me to leave... Kinda unfair, I asked if they could over look, this issue... Higher up said, No... I didn't hurt anyone, did what they told me to do...,_ NOW I'm homeless, totally wrong doing this... not all Staff are Christian.. So, I was made an example of, the other men, didn't get kicked out..Totally disappointed here!!!!!😞 God wouldn't have did this... Thank God for my brother in Columbus, OH.. help..
